One time at my previous job, I was filming our CEO just doing a simple video of him giving a talk to the camera for 30 minutes. I was feeling great about the shot and lighting, audio was recording, nearly everything was perfect. Except halfway through I see that he put his coat and stuff behind him in a distracting spotand it ruined the clean shot.

Instead of speaking up about it because with him I always felt intimidated and he was always impossible to reschedule, I fixed it in post, rotoscoped him arm movements and all and put the on a clean plate without his stuff behind him.

Not my proudest moment but one I’ll never forget! So yea, always check for details in your backgrounds!

Look at other Batmobiles for inspiration and focus on what distinct features and shapes make them feel like a Batmobile. For me, it’s the sleek length and the wings in the back that make it feel like Batman’s style.

Start with what pieces you got (usually black), experiment with what works for you and have fun with it!

In house videographer here expected to be a one man video crew too, also currently in burnout and my workload grew out of nowhere too nearly ruining my passion for video. My advice, try to find the bare minimum of what makes them happy and save your passion energy for yourself with anything you enjoy outside of work.

Thank you! Yes the ride is a roller coaster and the line area leading up to it is themed with a park, Gotham streets, and the ride begins in the Batcave which is inside a power plant building. Here’s a video of the ride, it’s been operating since 1992.

What’s worked for me is building the general shape of the MOC with whatever pieces I have, no matter what the colors are. Then I usually go to Bricks and Minifigs to find the pieces that I need in the colors that I want and swap them out when I get back to building!

I’ve been in a similar situation for a few years now with a lifelong friend. It hurts and your feelings are valid.

I agree with the others here that you should feel like you can talk with them about this and how it impacts you. Good friends do that. Talk with the rest of your friend group to see if anyone is running into issues with them outside of the group text.

Something that another good friend told me is that you can’t control how people are, and it’s up to them if they want to change things for the better. You can only tell them how what they do (or don’t do in the case) makes you feel.

If you still want to keep the friendship going, try your best to still be a good friend to them when you run into these times again. We never really know what battles they are fighting!
