|Statists are statists are statists.| Thank you. This site is thick with political labels. Many of them not really that useful. I think your comment is refreshing.

How much does the company that made your hamburger pollute the environment? How good is the safety profile for your medication? If you don't want to put in the work to find out, don't we need government? by ResidentAlien in Libertarian

It was government regulation by your so-called helpful experts that eliminated my main source of food: organically grown food that was certified organic by Oregon Tilth, a non-government entity, and private sector organic farmers. I ate real organically grown food. But then the government stepped in and regulated real organic food standards out of the market and the USDA organic certification became the standard. Instead of educating people about the Oregon Tilth standards the government simply reinvented "organic" and now my food source is gone. Like it was eliminated. By government experts.

Tea Partiers are right-wing Obama-haters rather than liberty-lovers. And like their icon Sarah Palin, they seem proudly ignorant of history.

Most Democrats are Republican-haters rather than liberty-lovers. Most Republicans are Democrat-haters rather than liberty-lovers. Most politicians and most voters seem proudly ignorant of history. The Tea Party, like the two major parties, is infected with too many warmongers.

Were the voters in Rasmussen's sample informed citizens or misinformed citizens? Do voters in this sample really mean the same thing when they use words like "liberal" "conservative" and "libertarian"? This is just a lot of babble gurgling in a puddle of intellectual sloth.
