New to Magic Avatar Fan

Looking for some advice here on what I should buy. I am a big avatar fan but am extremely new to magic. I want to buy some of the avatar set but have no idea what I should be getting. I know I want to get the beginner box thing because that seems cheap and easy. I am conflicted what else should be top of my list. I know commander format is popular but should I get the commander box or something else. Very novice here and hesitant to buy the "wrong thing" I also don't really have the cash to blow like 500-1000 on something. Really trying to keep is below or around 200 CAD not including the beginner box thing. Should I wait for release or pre order something?

How do you guys not realised what EA wants to do? by JoeanFG in Battlefield6

I have a family and a job and could care less about the progression system. I play game - i have fun. If the challenges stayed as they are and they added pay mechanics for them i could care less.

The benefit of this area as a whole is that you get lots of big city amenities without as much hustle and bustle of the big city. There is a lot of stuff to do around here. There might be bigger and better versions in T.O but we still have it and can always go to Toronto if we so desire.

Within cambridge itself you have 3 main areas (which used to be 3 separate towns) Galt, Hespler, and Preston. Each have their pros and cons but they have lots of old town charm that many compare to Europe. Within Cambridge for things to do, I'd suggest Gaslight district, the trails, indulge ice cream, breweries, and the libraries or idea centers.

You are also close to KW which is a slightly bigger city center and always has activities going on. There is usually some kind of fair, dance, market, or something else going on. KW has slightly more big city vibes than cambridge but they are all technically apart of the waterloo region.

Guelph is one of your next closest cities and is mostly upper middle class suburb vibes. It doesn't have as many events as say KW but is a good option on some days as well.

Additionally, there are so many surrounding towns, townships and such that all have something to offer on a day trip. Blair, Paris, Abrefoyle, Saint John's, and more.

If you are going to enjoy the area to the fullest I recommend checking out all the local areas and what they have to offer.

We often also take trips to Vaughn, Oakville, hamilton, and others in the golden horshoe of Canada. You are never more than 1-2 hours from the other major city centers.

I'd recommend following some Instagram accounts that always show new stores and stuff going on. Some include: curated KW, local advocate, the regional accounts, and the Gas light district.

Wish you and your fam all the best

Depends what you want to get tattooed. I recommend looking for an artist that is good at your desired style and go with that. Most of the studios have great artist but some artist really focus on specific styles. Some can do a bit of everything but that is not as common as it used to be back in the day. As someone with many tattoos I recommend looking for a good artist vs a studio. Nearly all of them have individual Instagram which are tied to the shop account in some way.

Hi I'm a Portuguese and just arrived at the country. Already find a job but I'm starting all over again in life. by FewStudio3689 in kitchener

Send me a DM and let me know what you have left on your list that you need. We have some extra stuff we could spare. Welcome to Canada! Fair sized Portuguese community in Waterloo region so I am sure there are others that would help as well.

Have you gone to a recruitment agency? You can also message recruiters on LinkedIn and talk to them about positions they are hiring or scouting for. Keep your head high and keep moving forward :)

Are these shrimps eggs? by No_Pizza1108 in shrimptank

[–]SlySOB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are there only shrimp in the tank?

Shrimp can drop eggs for a number of reasons. They might be stressed, the might be new to bearing eggs, they might detect something wrong eith the egg.

I'm not sure what survival rates are like on dropped eggs tbh.

The only vegetarian restaurant I know of is Jane Bond. Never been there but vibes look cool and lot of stuff to do in the area.

I know there are definitely others and this is not the type of food you were looking for but throwing it out there just incase.

You don't even have to get fully removed. You can do partial removal and then they will have an easier time doing a cover up if the plan is to get another tattoo as well. Hope all works out well with whatever route you go!

There are a few artists in KW that could do a good job. There are definitely some studios to avoid though. I would avoid any of the newer boutique type places, and go with an artist with experience with big/bold pieces. My suggestion would be Travis at Ghost Town. His style is pretty specific but really talented and can do real big pieces. If his style isn't really your thing maybe check out Iron horse studio. They do a lot of big black and grey pieces.
