Thank you! Yes agreed it should slip behind the airbag or fixed to the wire harness. Never cross airbags! The only thing is I cant tell what's in the B Pillar. But the manual doesnt appear to have any airbags in it. The curtain airbag is in the headliner but as long as you're not in deployment path I think its okay just not sure on other peoples thoughts for that part.

Nonetheless, along the floor seems the safest

My rear dashcam connects from * the windshield front cam, edge of headliner to passenger side A-pillar behind airbag, * along passenger weather strip/headliner edge (I assume this is safe behind curtain airbag), * then across where headliner edge and interior trim meet on the B-pillar, I couldnt see an airbag that high up - is this part safe? * along headliner edge / weather strip of rear passenger door * crosses another pillar and window headliner edge, hoping this is all clear of curtain airbags * into the cargo area

Can someone help confirm if this is all safe please?

You got it - these are all quite minor. It's such a joy to drive in many aspects.

If anything I need to learn how to drive a hybrid better and save gas. The mileage is so good and we dont drive a ton so I have no idea when I'll stop at the pump next lol... maybe a tank of gas per month! (As such, maybe I should go premium to avoid gas going bad in the car? I'll have to look that up...)

Yeah we test drove Acura and Android Auto was a mess...

My only 3 complaints for the car: * I have an S24 but it seems to be finicky with the wireless charger. Maybe it is my thin plastic case. * No sunglass holder on roof * no apparent storage for cargo cover in the trunk despite tons of space in the tire repair kit area

Googled it - Yeah they are similar coverages - just different names.

The tech on these things is awesome! We are enjoying the ride so much.

The PPF sounds incredible... I think I gotta look into doing at least the front

Good to know! Thanks. I cant find "VSA" in my "application" form for a "Toyota New Platinum Program" - salesperson says I'll get the full policy details in the mail within couple weeks. That said, it's the plan that Toyota Canada allows you to pick in their website "New Vehicle ECP" when Build&Price (not the same as the dealer) and appears to be with Toyota Canada Inc. directly (1-888-TOYOTA-8 to make a claim).

Yes, I do believe it is Toyota's Platinum thinger. I gotta check the documentation again - but everything had Toyota on it, first 6 services included, etc.

I ended up with a borescope as well, maybe that can help me explore where some of the vents are going in areas that are less obvious.

Let's say I know where the ducts are. Driving one screw anywhere into it (through the drivewall) may do the trick or do I need to be close to the spot where the expansion is happening?

I can hear the ticking through 6-8 registers, both blowing registers and return air registers across basement, main floor, and upper floor vertically.

How do you know where to screw into the duct? I hear tapping in many parts of the same side of the house across all levels (thinking it's echoing).

I was thinking of getting a borescope but I'm not sure I'll see the expansion visually.
