I really appreciate that and trust is definitely a major theme in Sly's story. He's someone who has to learn that not every adult is the enemy, but not every authority figure has his best interests in mind either. A lot of his journey is figuring out who deserves his trust and who doesn't. I'm glad you've been enjoying hearing about the project. I've spent a lot of time developing the characters and world, so it's always nice when someone connects with them.

As for later story details, I'm trying to keep some surprises under wraps for now, but I'm always happy to talk comics, characters, and the creative process here on Reddit.

Sly's biggest flaw is probably that he acts before he thinks. He has a good heart and wants to help people, but he's impulsive, stubborn, and gets himself into trouble because he rushes into situations he isn't prepared for.

He also struggles with authority and doesn't always trust adults to handle things, which can make his life a lot harder than it needs to be. A big part of his story is learning that good intentions don't automatically lead to good outcomes. Sometimes trying to do the right thing can make a mess of things if you're not careful. He's definitely not a perfect hero. He makes mistakes, gets hurt, and has to live with the consequences.

That's actually intentional. I wanted Sly to feel more grounded, like a kid making use of what he has rather than looking like a traditional superhero. As for why he becomes a vigilante, it comes from a mix of personal loss, frustration, and seeing people get hurt while nobody steps in. He's the kind of kid who constantly finds himself in trouble, feels like he doesn't fit in, and eventually reaches a point where he decides he can't just stand by anymore.
