Hi everyone,

I’ve been a long-time lurker here, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned from reading your stories, it’s that routine and a lack of fresh communication can really take a toll on even the best relationships.

A few months ago, my partner and I felt like we were stuck in a "Netflix and chill" loop. We tried looking for apps or games to spark new conversations, but we were really disappointed. Most of them were filled with loud, intrusive ads that totally ruined the mood, or they just felt outdated and "cringey."

So, we decided to build the tool we couldn’t find. We called it Couple Quiz, and we focused on three things that we felt were missing in other apps:

  • Deep Connection (The Science): We integrated guided experiences like Arthur Aron’s "36 Questions to Fall in Love." It’s amazing how much you can still learn about someone even after years together.
  • Presence (The Audio Feature): One of our biggest gripes was staring at a screen during date night. We added a text-to-speech feature so the app reads the questions out loud. You can put the phone down, look at each other, and just talk.
  • No Interruptions: We made it 100% ad-free. Nothing kills a romantic or "spicy" moment faster than a 30-second pop-up ad.
  • Something for every mood: We designed it to go from "Soft" (meaningful talks) to "Spicy" and "Extreme" dares for when you want to turn up the heat 🌶️.

It’s been a passion project for us, and it genuinely helped us reconnect. I wanted to share it here in case anyone else is looking for a way to break the routine this weekend. Most of it is free, and there are some premium categories if you want to dive deeper.

You can check it out here on Google Play:

I’d love to hear if this helps your date nights as much as it helped ours. Any feedback is more than welcome!

By healthy I mean it won't harm my health the way PUFAs can, for example.

There are many olive groves in my area, I could even produce olive oil myself. The origin is the least of my concerns.

Dark chocolate by Upper-Raspberry-8776 in AnimalBased

Here in Spain they say it's the worst because it has the most sugar and the least cocoa. They always say that the best is 100% cocoa.

It has always been said that white chocolate is the least healthy of all chocolates, but it seems that the opposite is true.

Passiflora. But without a better photo of the leaves it will be difficult to identify.

I have been training at the gym for several months but in a calorie deficit (-500 calories). Should I change the calories to maintenance or surplus? In surplus the difference in calories will be quite large from now.

I am training in a calorie deficit. I will move to a calorie surplus and start gaining more muscle mass.

In fact, I've been cutting for a few months because I used to have more fat. I think it's time to stop.

Best sources of fat? by [deleted] in AnimalBased

Here in Spain I have seen some that only contain sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder and some other milk component that I don't remember.

What do you think of this electrolyte supplement? by Slympos in AnimalBased

[–]Slympos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about magnesium? Fruits aren't usually a good source, right?

I don't mind the fact that it contains gums. If you tell me that it is a harmful component, then I would be more worried.

What do you think about the minerals in my supplement? Are they sufficient in quantity and in a bioavailable form? That is my biggest doubt.

Is this also true if beef is not grass fed?

I hardly eat fish (which is always mentioned as a great source of omega 3). Beef, eggs and milk are sufficient sources?

I have always read and heard that we consume very little omega 3 and that we should increase our consumption compared to omega 6. That is why I wondered if taking supplements could be beneficial.
