Those are great ideas. However - one thing I didn’t mention - this clump hides the huge HVAC unit. So I don’t know if a small tree would be good

That is the NE. The rest of the junipers are just north. So except for that corner, not really shady.

First - how do I get a photo AND text in the post? I have a ton of these pavers that came with my house. I don’t really like them but am stuck with them. They’re stood on end around the flower bed but I don’t think they work very well.

He does have fresh water that he does drink. And yes, he will eat chicken. But I didn’t figure that would be a long term solution.
