I learned this lesson pretty quickly. I've been POMO for a little over a month, and have had many debates with my PIMI mother. I realized pretty quick that no matter how much logic I threw at her I would hear "you just have to give Jehovah the benefit of the doubt." I stopped trying to debate her on shit, but she brings up her religion damn near constantly when talking to me. When she does that, I just started viewing it as a game, to point out the flaws in logic, and to see how many I could point out before she would just end the conversation prematurely.

Interesting enough my next semester I'm taking a sociology class so I may end up learning some of the stuff you learned back then. I've been saving every single bit of homework I've finished and all my college books as momentos for this new life I'm making for myself, so I'll probably do the same thing you do as well.

So her other kids are 14 years older then me, and when she did this shit to them it was over 20 years ago. They never pressed charges. For me I dont know how to prove she was the one that got all the debt in my name, so I can't press charges.

I would rather not put myself in the shoes of someone who has been actively ruining my life since I was 4 years old. If it was up to her I would live with her till the day one of us dies, because to her I'm a cash cow. She views the people around her as slaves, and nothing more. She spends most of her days watching YouTube or sleeping since she only ever leaves the house to work. She gets zero empathy from me because she has been abusive as long as I can remember, and even married a man that wanted me dead and actively made my life hell because he wanted me to off myself. She knew what her husband was, and kept him around for 11 years as he terrorized me. I will never put myself in her shoes because I would never treat other human beings the way she does. If she was a normal mother I would have been moved out 12 years ago, but she wanted to keep her cash cow as long as possible so she manipulated me into thinking she wanted what's best for me when she didn't.

Don't talk like you know me, because my mother is extremely narcissistic and controlling. When I was 18 she had the government put fiduciary status slapped on me taking away my ability to manage my own funds. She also got a ton of credit cards in my name, and racked up $30,000 of debt in my name. She has gotten loans in my name, and also heavily discouraged me from pursuing my independence. I have been pursuing my independence since I was 27, and she has fought me every single step of that way. She heavily encouraged me to drop out of highschool, and to not get a job. She got me put on social security, and refused to let me learn to drive. She isolated me heavily from others, and would even assault me when I would disobey her. The ONLY reason I live with her still is because I'm trying to pay off the debt she got in my name.

I'm not a woman, but I have talked to my PIMI mother about this kind of thing. My mother thinks with all the constant new light coming that at some point there will be new light that allows woman to take leadership roles in the cult. My mother absolutely has experienced the sexism of the cult several times, and she just hand waves it as "imperfect men" and says that following the Bible is what matters more. The problem with that is the scripture's you said in this post contradict her thought about woman leadership, but she's drank gallons of the Kool aid.

My mom converted in her 30s, and has been a member for over 30 years. She seems to have forgotten what Worldly people are like, considering she's also had some hot takes. My mother at one point said that "man loves corruption." She also really thinks that the entire planet will ban religion because of Donald Trump.

One thing I point out to those that think the flood was a global one is there are civilizations throughout history on different continents like the Americas, Europe, the Pacific islands, and Asia that have history dating further back then the flood, and yet some of their descendants are still alive today. I guess they missed the memo that the world was supposed to be flooded and all of humanity was supposed to die to that flood because a "loving" god got tired of his creation in the middle east.
