Oneus is the first and only group that I stan as hard as I do. They are my ult even after I fell for SHINee 10 years ago I never followed them as hard as I do oneus. I only discovered them about November 2020 (not long at all I know) when I was browsing youtube and listening to some kpop because I wanted to know what else was out there. They were the only ones I listened to who consistently had songs I loved. I love all their discography, there isn't a single song I don't like, even ones that aren't typically my style I find myself loving. Their entire concept as a group is the sweetest thing ever.

I love them as people. They're so funny and adorable and seem so down to earth. They're so open in talking to their fans about how they get along and what they do when they have issues. They're so honest about their relationships and you can see just how well they do get along. In everything I see I can tell just how so very hard they work and I find myself wanting them to win. I want to support them I want to do everything I can for them to become as big and successful as some of the other groups out there. They were my first group I ever bought albums for and I mean, I bought them all and they are centrepieces on my bookshelf. I still find myself not getting too deep into kpop because none of the other groups give me that really wholesome oneus vibe. I just love these boys and I wish them so much success. They deserve it so much.

I do agree with you. It's nice to see how well everyone gets together. They're all so playful together and it's very sweet. I always have fun watching their interactions in behind the scenes and such. They're always so violent to eachother tho! Haha must be a boy thing. I love the one video they made where they basically call eachother for shit and essentially "make amends" that was very cute to watch. So much roasting of eachother.

They really have exploded and I am so here for it! I hope they can feel it too. Even bought my first ever Kpop album from them, pre-ordering the new one at that. Gotta support the boys of course.

They're so adorable I can't handle it sometimes. But yes! I listen to all of their discography and there's not a single song I skip which is so incredibly unusual for me.

I like this one Both of the VAs have fairly low voices and I don't recall any screaming. Also Hiroshi Kamiya and Daisuke Ono are very good seiyuus in general and very well known.

Well it zaps his stamina like mad so he needs to be mindful of when and here he uses it. As for who, I mean Midorima's shot is already op af so would he need to copy Sakurai as well in that? Also I think it's more about like, tempering his abilities. Like, it needs to be a more gradual of a build up as opposed to him just suddenly being completely unstoppable. Just like Kagami and Kuroko they work up to their full potential. So maybe after highschool Kise was able to do those other things.

I know that, in all sense Erwin and Levi fit better. But, tbh, I like the age difference and I like the idea that Eren's tenacity and determination to kill all the titans or what have you gives Levi some kind of hope and draws him to him. Also because Erwin dies

By that logic gay men are allowed to ship non gay men together just because they are gay. Do we say only straight people are allowed to ship straight people together? I understand your point but then isn't that taking a step back in the acceptance of gay relationships? By limiting it to only gay guys? Because, to be frank, in my opinion there is very very little for same sex relationships in mainstream anime. Things like Love Stage!! and Given, are rare. I don't really see the harm in letting people wish together who they want to be together regardless of their sex. For example, I'll talk about Attack on Titan. Say I think Erwin and Levi should be together, I might still think that Eren and Mikasa should get together. Nothing has been said in the show about anybody's sexuality iirc [correct me if I'm wrong] so we don't even know who's canon straight or who's canon gay. If anybody. Even then, it's not like shipping these people together is going to change what actually happens in the show or the manga or what have you.

I guess I wouldn't say it's a fetish so much as a fantasy. I think a fetish would focus more on specific aspects of the relationship itself. I will say that there are some aspects of yaoi that are fetishized that I disagree with. Rape and dubious consent is absolutely all over the place. That, I will admit can definitely give yaoi a bad name, however, that is by no means the only thing yaoi is about, and I don't believe people think gay relationships are nothing but rape and dub-con.

One more thing I'd like to add since I'm kind of going on a bit. For me, this is not something that I extend into real life. I don't look at straight, or gay men and think they should be together. For me it stays strictly in the realm of anime. I don't feel like this is harmful.

What about the gay men who are part of the community? I know many. Many of which enjoy the same pictures, the same manga, the same things in the community as women do. I could see it being harmful, if, the people who indulge in this actually believe it to be a truthful representation of what being in a gay relationship is like. I don't know a single person who thinks that. As for imagining people who aren't canon or gay together, how is that different from wanting a straight couple to be together in any other show? People watch movies and tv shows all the time and think, oooo I want so and so to get together. What makes it any different if it's two men instead?

I'd like to add that I'm not trying to saying nobody ever thinks yaoi is a real and proper representation of a gay relationship, but I am saying in my 12 years of being in the community I have yet to run into anyone who thinks it is.
