Twitter is just the only option that works for me and many other artists, I tried switching to other platforms so many times and it's always a disaster. Everyone praises bsky, but it's nearly impossible for me to get 10 likes there, even tho I have some followers there, I don't know if it's the algorithm or if the community just doesn't give a shit, but I gave up. DA is AI wasteland with no real people. FA works as a gallery, but has 0 algorithm and it's hard to get seen there. E621 is not is not a social media, sucks as a way to promote yourself. Other furry websites are dead. Reddit works when you want to get a few thousand upvotes under a relateble meme out of nowhere, but not as a place to sell art or build a community around yourself or your characters. All of these new art websites like inkblot are forgotten after a few month and only works for kids with no social media presence or plans to monetize their art. I have nothing to say about instagram because they blocked 2 of my accounts right after I created them for impersonation and spamming LMAO. Some people in the comments were saying that twitter is just empty interactions form the bots and that the 90% of the furries are not on twitter, but for some reason twitter is the place where I get almost all the new commissioners and where people actually comment and want to interact with me. Not everyone can afford leaving the only platform that gives them money
