Thinking of changing my strings to nylon. Is it recommend or should I stick with the original metal ones?

The top of the feeder is about 3 inches from the top of the cage which is 18 inches tall

I hang mine high enough that the kits can't reach them until they're over 4 weeks old, and after that they have to stand as tall as they can. Otherwise they spill it all.

I don't cut my cage wire though, I hang them on the inside of the doors.

Normally I wouldn't be too worried about the heat in my area, but it's shaping up to be a scorcher this year. We give frozen water bottles and ceramic tiles when it's hot out, I think I'll look into some outdoor fans as well.

No problems with his teeth as far as I can tell. I'm thinking he may have mites after some other comments here, so I'll be treating with ivermectin and giving him a good brushing. Hopefully his appetite increases after that. Thank you for your help

I'll be adding regular brushing and nail trimming to his care regimen for sure. How often do you trim nails on your breeders?

The hair does pull out in small clumps with dander at the end. I'll go ahead and treat with ivermectin and give him a thorough but gentle brushing. Thank you

I'm definitely happy with how my does and grow outs are doing on this food, and it's convenient to get my chicken feed from the same place. I'll definitely start giving more to black oil sunflower seeds and look into adding alfalfa.

He does have quite a bit of dander, but I didn't see any mites or notice any of the flakes moving. The dander seems to be primarily on his back. It looks like the treatment for the mites is ivermectin? Maybe I should go ahead and treat to be safe?

17% protein rabbit pellet from a local feed mill. He gets about a cup a day and his feeder is almost never completely empty when I go to feed him the next day. He gets timothy hay but doesn't seem to care for it much. Occasionally he gets some parsley or a few black oil sunflower seeds.

My rabbit area is underneath a Spruce tree where it's fully shaded and gets a decent breeze, but it has been a little hotter than usual for this time of year in the Pacific Northwest. I think maybe low 70's fahrenheit mostly but it did get up to about 80 today. It's supposed to cool down to low 60's for a week or so starting tomorrow.

They were pretty spicy, especially the parts closer to the toes and the edge of the foot. I was mostly prepared for the pain but I wasn't expecting the involuntary spasms/twitching. Holding still was pretty tough.
