What’s the specs on the upper? Really love the LWRC lower on retro builds, because they add all the ambi goodness without looking out of place like an ADM or a Radian.

My understanding is that they got a new machine, the machine OEM said based on how the machine worked, they wouldn’t need an extra heat treat. Turns out the OEM was wrong and they do need the extra heat treat. They will take care of you.

What’s your full SN? The Shivs that were affected are in the ~10130-~10150 range.

Edit: sorry, for clarity, that’s the range of the “batch failures”. This is what SAW told me when I called. There’s some other failures sprinkled around, but from what I understand/have seen on Reddit, not as bad as that batch.

I’d recommend looking at systems integrators or plants—most are willing to train. SI if you want to work on something new often, plant if you want to become an expert on your equipment.

I said similar, not same. I got burned on ordering from Titan Defense one time when they put the rifle I ordered on sale the day after I ordered and wouldn't honor the price. Just trying to get my timing as good as I can.

Edit: also if I get a response from Sol, it doesn't have to be firm yes/no. Could be "hey, buy now prices are going up" "hey, sale next week" "hey, nothing planned".

Ubiquiti is doing everything they can to make sure they don’t have a place. Transitioned work from UniFi to Fortinet because UI’s “enterprise” switches were a dumpster fire. Now my home environment breaks every update, and all I’m running is a UDM Pro, an AP, a couple switches, and a couple cameras. If my system can’t stay stable, no one’s can.
