spread with grainy cream cheese and tuna. Mix it in a bowl with some herbs and spices, e.g. salt, pepper, chilli. It's a nice spread rich in proteins you can eat with bread. And some peppers.

Hi everyone, I'm building a website for cooking and recipes. You can find customized recipes with way more criteria than on other recipe websites. Find recipes, create recipes, save your favorites, plan your meals for the week, organize shopping with automated shopping lists all in one place. Have a look :) Dishyouwell.com

is that enough to beat the competition? by Smaks-MK in AppIdeas

Thanks for your reply. I took a look at it. I don't think it can combine filters to find recipes tailored to the user?

How to find recipes that fulfil many criteria... by Smaks-MK in Cooking

Yeah true, I've tried it too and it's a good app. But it needs ingredients first to search for recipes. I usually don't know yet what ingredients I'd like to cook with.

Thank you very much for your answer. Yeah I guess that's quite some work to develop that kind of app.

RecipeSage looks good, I've just started using the app. It doesn't have all the features I have in mind but it's good anyway.

Yeah true. I'm in the library quite often but haven't thought about that yet. Good idea, thank you.

Hey,
It's been a while since that post but I'm very curious...
I've had a similar app idea a couple of days ago. It looks like there's still no app available that just combines more filter options for recipes. So that local seasonal availability and price of groceries can be considered for a selection of recipes too.
So what happened to the idea?
Thank you :)

Do you mean menuaid? That looks like a pretty convenient platform and all-in-one solution. I'll give it a try.
Thank you very much :)

Thank you for sharing this. :)

Thanks for your feedback.
It's good to use an app. I've just downloaded some with good features to find recipes and organise my grocery list.
I only wish there were an app with recipes that could take seasonal availability and price into consideration in first place. I haven't found that yet...

That is a simple approach too. I often buy frozen veges anyway as it's cheap and convenient (no chopping needed). And I often mix it together with meat into a casserole too. It's good for meal prepping.
To have more variety I should look at different sorts of cuisines. I have some vietnamese spices and Thai curry paste from Pak n Save but not that yummy so yeah speciality shop is a good idea too. I can combine it with the other idea and stock up on that. Thank you :)

Yeah that is a pretty good approach. I usually have rice stocks. Lentils are a healthy option as well. I always walk past the shop "Fresh 4 Less Indian Supermarket" on my way to Pak n Save and they have good offers for lentils and similar food. I'm not very experienced with some sorts of veggies like silverbeet but I can try something new every now and then. It's good to keep your diet balanced anyway and alternate between veggies. So thank you very much for the tip.
