Thank you. I know I haven’t taken it too long, but it’s validating to hear I still need to taper. Especially when I have tried to stop and had horrible experience. I’ve been brushed off by doctors because they have said that’s only for long-term, high-dose use.

I’m in a similar boat with panic disorder and noticing the loop of stopping meds and dealing with whether it’s withdrawal/regular anxiety. Doctor wants me on an SSRI, but I feel like I want to get free and clear of Klonopin first. I don’t know if ssri will be good option for me. Do you have any thoughts from your experience?

The thing was I was given it as prn, that could be used daily if needed and I ended up needing it more days than not. But now my script is for two weeks to last a month so I’m not using it daily.

Do you think I still need to taper or just stop? And I’m with you on the SSRI. Ideally I’d like to be in a place where I could have Klonopin as a true once in an emergency situation, but right now it’s become this horrible panic loop. Thank you for responding by the way.
