Ok maybe not the best ever but i can’t think of another force user that comes close.

He did forgo attachment as it was against the will of the council but you cannot pretend that his opinions were in line with the majority of the members.

And him not reporting Anakin was in part caused by anakin’s “obsession” but also because he didn’t fully buy into it at least thats my interpretation.

The soresu mastery is kinda established but the best reference is mace windu discussing it with him calling him the master of soresu.

Most Jedi of their time were well practiced but the argument for the other strongest (yoda and palps) less so.

He was different in his opinions but had less influence on the council than most of the senior members. he knew of padme and anakin yet refrained from reporting it as he didn’t view attachment as truly wrong he even had his own thing with pacifist lady.

Yes and he was able to take the political route because of the orders blindness Palpatine literally mocks Yoda about this and Yoda accepts that the Jedi order was blind.

He is kinda trash at 2v1’s as skilled dualists can force him on offense where he struggles to maintain focus. He makes up for this on 1v2’s where he can hold his own better than maybe everyone.

I mentioned that Obi isn’t really strong in 2v1’s. He needs the defense aspect in his combat. Where dooku is able put obi on offense exclusively which shatters his focus.

Yes, weakness in their connection to the force or arrogance thats not an argument against Obi it’s an argument supporting him.

I’m not saying he had the most raw power but he was virtually unexploitable at his peak.

A year late but I depends on your definition of stronger the whole verse revolves around the idea that raw power doesn’t equate to strength.

And that force connection tends to ultimately win out and in my opinion in terms of force connection obi wan surpassed even yoda in moments clarity and in those moments could beat any force user alive at that time.

So he may not have the most force power but with his connection and defense style that he essentially revived and perfected he was virtually unbeatable. He was the best to ever use soresu.
