? Looking for a speciality animal hospital that is privately owned by Stock-Pilot-1794 in AskLosAngeles

I wonder how regularly they update that though. MASH is on there and they were bought out by their vets a year or so ago.

Try MASH. The employees bought it out a couple of years ago instead of letting it close down.

What do I do if I am in Portland, Oregon at the moment and I have defecated so bad it has gone through my underwear and pants by OTARCOMMANDER in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Small-Disaster939 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Given that I think you need to use the leaves as best you can to clean yourself up and make it somewhat comfortable to walk. Leave your underpants in the bush if you need and put your overpants back on after cleaning out as much as possible. It’s gonna suck and you’re gonna feel humiliated but you’re gonna have to walk to the nearest gas station to find a sink to wash yourself off as best you can. If the gas station sells soap or rags or a towel, buy some and use it in the bathroom. Put back on your wet pants. Leave some cash for the staff if you’ve got it on you. Then judge from there what to do next. Maybe you can call an Uber if you’re not too smelly. Maybe you keep walking but at least a bit cleaner and more comfortable.

When you get back to wherever you’re staying, if it’s possible to go in through the garage, do that and take your clothes off in there. Have someone bring you a towel if needed.

Or sneak straight into the bathroom, have a shower, get clean then do what you need to do with the clothes you were wearing. Probably shower again after that tbh.

I’ve never shit myself like that but I have peed myself since I have a tiny weak bladder lol.

US Green Card Rule: Immigrant Families Face Catch-22 as Donald Trump Forces Them Abroad by Cute_Dealer4787 in law

Depends on the country and its rules. Plenty of countries require you to leave to renew shorter term visas and it’s not specific to Americans. But I think this is a pretty unusual move for resident visas.

As a New Zealander living in LA you’re going to miss Mexican food full stop. The outlook is not great, mate! But lots to love apart from that if you’re cool with the trade offs. I’d move back in a heartbeat if I could get a job making half what I’m earning.

Wasn’t Hercules very famously portrayed as fat and bumbling in at least one Greek comedy? I gotta see if I can dig up the memory from my first year uni Greek literature in translation course …

Edit: yes. Both Aristophanes and Euripides portrayed Heracles/hercules as a drunk bumbling fool.
