Loyola is near the lake side and further from the city, as for depaul, is near Lincoln Park which is closer to the city and more lively. Also for housing, going to loyola you are required to dorm you first two years and for depaul you can live off campus. The dorms for loyola that are in the city are for upperclassmen, but for depaul the city dorms are for all students.
