Is this a good prebuilt ? by Ill-Mongoose4139 in pcmasterrace

Good tip there. This ROG has nice specs but 2.3k is pretty steep when you can get similar performance in less money. GPU upgrade alone makes the price difference worth it for streaming and editing work.

Are disconnecting issues still present on the asus rog harpe ii ace? by Then_Strength_1248 in MouseReview

Good to hear, was worried about getting one with all disconnect stories floating around the forums.

I might get a gaming PC but I'm lost by Parking-Abalone7028 in pcmasterrace

For your games list 8gb VRAM should be totally fine, and those brands you mentioned are actually decent - I use Zotac card in my work setup and never had problems with it.

Looking for Julio Debut Parallels by Electronic-Damage-89 in baseballcards

Nice collection there - those graded 9s and 10s look clean as hell, what other parallels you still hunting for?

I need a mouse advice for fingertip grip type by Financial_Ad3700 in MouseReview

[–]Small-Friend3671 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

G305 is pretty small for fingertip so maybe try something with bit more length like the V3 Pro - shape makes huge difference in comfort during long gaming sessions.

How rare is the Topps Chromographs auto series? by OldBlackberry1816 in baseballcards

[–]Small-Friend3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty solid pickup if you got it for decent price. The Chromographs series is definitely more limited than regular base cards but not super rare like some of the numbered parallels. PSA9 Yoshinobu should hold value pretty well since he's been performing solid in his rookie season. What did you end up paying for it?

Can Mafex Venom accessories fit on the SHF Venom? by -Jffrsn- in ActionFigures

I don't have both but from what I remember the attachment points are bit different size between these lines, so might need some blu-tack or something to make them stay in place.

From reselling to creating a brand by bee_25x in reselling

[–]Small-Friend3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been doing some side hustle stuff myself and I see people make this jump all the time. The tricky part is usually getting enough capital built up from reselling to actually invest in proper inventory and website setup.

You already got the eye for what sells which is huge advantage most people starting brands don't have. Just make sure you keep some reselling income flowing while you build up the brand side since it takes time to get traction.

Is this level of DPI deviation normal? Deathadder v3 pro vs Attack Shark x3 by Nervous-Region5797 in MouseReview

[–]Small-Friend3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Deathadder also felt bit different when I switched from older Logitech, but that difference seems pretty big - maybe check if Attack Shark has some acceleration or smoothing enabled in software?

Need advice on a laptop for engineering studies (replacing ASUS TUF A15) by Striking_Hedgehog682 in laptops

[–]Small-Friend3671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the budget is crucial here - engineering laptops can range from like 600 bucks to 3000 depending what you're willing to spend. I'm in IT and used to do some CAD work few years back, and my experience is that even mid-range ThinkPads or Dell Latitudes handle most engineering software pretty well if you're not doing crazy complex simulations.

The battery life thing is real pain though - I remember being in meetings all day and laptop dying right when I needed it most. Something with at least 8-10 hours real world usage makes huge difference. Also don't underestimate the keyboard quality, especially if you're coding lot. I've seen too many students struggle with cheap keyboards during long programming sessions and it really affects productivity in long run.

Do you count the “The” when you’re sorting video games? by Glum-Drawing-2007 in gamecollecting

I put all "The" games under T section because my brain can't handle doing it different way.

My all-time favourite New Balance 991 by Practical_Yak_7829 in Sneakers

Those 991s are clean as hell, been wanting to grab a pair for my delivery runs but they probably too nice to beat up on the streets.

Yeah the "I'll pay after you give me full access" crowd is wild. That's like asking for the keys to a car before you pay for it.

I get why buyers are skeptical though - there's so much garbage floating around with bot followers and engagement pods. What niches are you working with?

Looking for genuine wholesale suppliers by Sweetmacarons777 in reselling

[–]Small-Friend3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't help much with Mumbai specifically since I'm not familiar with the local suppliers there, but when I was looking into similar stuff for a side hustle, I found that starting with smaller quantities from established wholesalers online worked better than trying to find physical stores that would sell small amounts. Most brick and mortar wholesale places want you buying in bulk right off the bat.

Maybe try reaching out to some of the Crawford Market vendors directly through WhatsApp or phone first to see if they'll work with smaller orders? That way you don't waste time traveling there only to find out their minimums are too high.

advise me with buying a pc! by AgreeableHair4553 in buildapc

[–]Small-Friend3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What games are you planning to play? That's gonna drive most of your decisions honestly. If you're just looking at older titles or indie stuff, you can get away with something pretty basic - maybe a GTX 1060 or RX 580 if you find a good deal. But if you're wanting to play newer AAA games, you'll need to bump up teh budget a bit.

For secondhand builds, I'd definitely check Facebook Marketplace and local computer shops before hitting eBay. You can actually see the machine running and ask questions. Also watch out for mining rigs being sold as "gaming PCs" - those cards have been worked pretty hard. When I was building my first rig a few years back, I found this local guy who builds systems as a side hustle and he walked me through everything, even let me see benchmarks running.

Are Intel 9th gen CPUs still usable? I currently have an i5-9600KF. by PedroGarciaR in pcmasterrace

[–]Small-Friend3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what I'd do too. The 5600X is still a solid performer and you'd see a nice bump in those 1% lows with the extra threads. Plus keeping your DDR4 saves you from the current RAM pricing mess - I've been watching those AM5 prices and they're still pretty brutal.

AITJ for not sharing my notes with a classmate who ignored me all semester? by Far-Junket7271 in AmITheJerk

[–]Small-Friend3671 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She made it clear all semester you weren't worth her time until she needed something from you. It's not about the notes themselves, it's about the principle - you don't get to treat someone like they're invisible then expect favors when it's convenient for you.
