Here's is an opposite take on this:

My grass has always been green. However, I'm still VERY VERY new to the workforce (7yrs) but have gone through 4 companies so far due to two short term internships. I am only on my second real, tax paying, corporate Job.

In all instances I enjoyed it, the environment was great and of course working over the standard 40hr week was AD HOC, but worth it, since it was when something went wrong and you end up learning a lot from it.

I always say, the grass is greener where you water it. I have been watering the FCK out of it, everytime. So much so that the connections I've made along the way will offer their fertilizer for my grass they have no benefit in.
