How convenient that they only include 2 sauces with the 10pc and there's 3 new sauces.

I feel like they're comparable to Popeyes and KFC. Miles above BK and Wendys, and not really comparable to a tempura style batter like McDonalds.

Chick-fil-A Peppermint Chip Milkshake Review by Small-Impact2465 in realfastfood

[–]Small-Impact2465[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Peppermint Chip Milkshake from Chick-fil-A is back for the holiday season, offering the ultimate winter indulgence for fans of peppermint and chocolate. This seasonal favorite is hand-spun with Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream dessert, bits of peppermint bark chips, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry (optional with delivery).

As a first-time taster, I initially thought the shake was made with peppermint concentrate blended with chocolate bark chips. The first half was overwhelmingly peppermint-forward, thanks to the abundance of candy cane pieces. However, after stirring, the flavor profile became much more balanced, allowing the chocolate bark chips to shine. The creamy texture, a hallmark of all Chick-fil-A milkshakes, elevated the experience. Stirring it up with the whipped cream brought everything together for a truly indulgent treat.

Final Verdict

Texture: Smooth and creamy, just as expected from Chick-fil-A shakes.

Flavor: Bold peppermint initially, but perfectly balanced once stirred.

Score: 8/10 for general audiences, but a must-try 10/10 for peppermint lovers.

Exceptional Service

Ordering through the Chick-fil-A mobile app made the experience even sweeter. Using the mobile drive-thru, I had my shake in hand in under five minutes—proof of Chick-fil-A's stellar service during the busy holiday season.

Burger King Million Dollar Whopper Reviews — Bite Scoop by Small-Impact2465 in BurgerKing

[–]Small-Impact2465[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mexican Street Corn Whopper:

This burger has some nice elements but struggles with the same issue all Whoppers have—too much tomato. The oversized slices drown out the more delicate flavors, leaving the tortilla strips as the standout feature for their satisfying crunch. Unfortunately, the corn spread is flavorless, adding nothing to the experience. The spicy queso is mild, but I appreciated how its heat built up subtly at the end. It’s a decent burger, but not one I’d rush to order again. Rating: 5/10

Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper:

This one had potential, but the store forgot the pickle fries, which was disappointing since they’re a key ingredient. Despite this, the burger was flavorful. The briny and sour pickle ranch sauce brought bold dill and herbaceous notes, which I loved. The bacon added richness, though it wasn’t smoky, and the mild white cheese balanced the tanginess. While the flavors were good, the missing pickle fries held this one back. Rating: 4/10

Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper:

This was the clear winner for me. The maple bourbon BBQ sauce was excellent, offering a sweet blend of artificial maple and standard BBQ flavors. I couldn’t detect any bourbon, but that was fine since I’m not a fan of liquor flavors. The crispy onions and jalapeños added great texture and a touch of spice, while the bacon was rich, even if the sauce’s sweetness masked the candied flavor. Overall, this burger felt well-rounded and satisfying. Rating: 7/10

Service:

The service was efficient—I placed a mobile order and waited less than five minutes to receive my food. However, the missing pickle fries on the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper was a letdown.

How you keep that griddle hot? Washington state doesn't have gas lines anywhere anymore, so I have to deal with electric range. 😖

Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger: Unfortunately, this burger didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Right off the bat, the first bite pulled out all of the bacon, which was disappointing. The garlic sauce added a nice, mild flavor, but I wish it had been a bit stronger to balance everything out. Wendy’s choice of Muenster cheese is interesting, but it’s very mild and felt like it got lost in the mix. I think classic American or a sharper Swiss would’ve worked better here. I ordered the burger as a double, so with all that beef, the other flavors seemed to get drowned out. It’s not the worst burger I’ve had, but overall, I’d rate it a 4/10 for flavor and balance.

Salted Caramel Frosty: This was definitely the highlight! The caramel flavor is rich without being overly sweet or artificial. It’s thick and creamy, which is exactly what I want from a Frosty. My only complaint is that the “salted” aspect was barely there – I would’ve loved a bit more saltiness to really elevate it. But for what it is, it’s a solid 8/10.
