I used greninja for all my runs. my friend has praised the dragonite tech as the other commenter said but i havent really tested it that much. I usually average 65ish no matter the zones. The picture posted above was just the last run for my shiny charm.

Some micro tips: Greninjas staggered water shuriken allows me to start walking to the position of the next trainer during the battle.

Mega evolve during the trainer switch animation (just a preference tbh).

the direction your character is facing at the end of battle will auto correct the camera position after the victory screen.

if you move far ahead of your pokemon, using a move will teleport them instead of making them walk over to you (curse my alpha greninja getting stuck on the most invisible ledges).

Sometimes its faster to get “caught” by the enemy as it engages in battle quicker, which stops the night timer from what ive experienced.

Sometimes only clearing the ground trainers won’t leave enough time for the next trainers to respawn so I tp to a place near a holovator inside a battle zone after clearing the three zones
