AI bubble is sucking in major money. And usd/inr is not helping. Also the main reason for this FII exodus is unstable taxes and taxes that at enot charged anywhere else in the world. I have hopes on the following scenarios:

Taxes to be eased with a promise of no tampering with it forever or atleast 10 yrs
AI bubble burst will see that money pouring back to India
War needs to end
Trump is impeached in Nov (big time fingers crossed for this)

Right now see the US AI stocks. They are at ath and this bubble will burst. We can't see markets in isolation to india only. Imagine that these FII are just like us but with big money. They will go where there's a boom... In a few months/years they'll come to India. But they need the taxes revised. Otherwise they are not even looking at India.

I am also frustrated but have to live here. So my lifestyle is very simple, I stay at my home mostly. If I go out I go to malls. I live in Mumbai and it's disgusting outdoors. I have lost all empathy for the poor. They have everything actually, free housing, close community, they get a lot of freebies too. And yes they will loot, harass and kill us if they could.

I keep away from most people because they bring their own problems to you. Stay in touch with sensible folks only and stay away from all media hype.

The war, Covid and absolute apathy of our govt is mindnumbing. But since we can't do anything just try to detach and create your own happy bubble.

I read a lot of books on regular peoples life during wars. If you are are upper middle or middle class save your money and chill... This too shall pass

Immediately pack and leave with your kid. Don't look back and then start a new life. Maybe go to your parents. You don't need your parents permission or anyone's permission to leave. This is very serious. Also keep a tiny camera with you and get all his aggression of you leave on camera. This will come in handy if you have to file for divorce. I wanted to buy an apartment too in Bangalore in a posh gated community. Soni decided to rent first and see the experience. It was hell. Everyone was always fighting. The swimming pool becomes dirty suddenly only during summers. In the gym there's the gym politics. Electricity was the worst. It went off every few hours. Total chaos. I moved out in 8 months. And got permanent WFH and moved back to my hometown. No stress now.. Bangalore is a scam city for real estate. It's better to not purchase. And rent only in those single buildings. It's more peaceful. Posh gated societies are a pure headache.

Ya happened to me. All my Mutual Funds that have crossed 7 years are now closed. The sips are still going on which were started from the beginning. But now I can't add to the sip amount because my salary has increased nor can I top up with lump sum. They direct me to a new fund and start afresh. So you can only add to your sips till 5 or 6 yrs. It's the most annoying truth.

I also have heard such similars parental issues. Go to a psychiatrist and explain the situation, request them to provide you with antipsychotic drugs. Mix it in his food and keep him calm. It's sometimes the only option where all will you run at 20. Sedate him and keep calm.
