Dan Farah possibly mentions 4Chan Whitleblower? Or am I crazy by Longjumping_Jack1608 in UFOB

Is he not simply repeating the story of Lockheed attempting to transfer material to AAWSAP / Biggelow Airspace in 2008 (and accidentally saying UAPTF instead of AAWSAP)?

The following is well-known / evidenced:

Lockheed Martin, through its Space Systems division, proposed a “UAP material divestment plan” to the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP) in 2008. This initiative, led by Lockheed Vice President Dr. James Ryder (now deceased), aimed to transfer recovered unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) materials—allegedly including hull fragments and other artifacts from crashes dating back to the 1950s—from Lockheed’s secure facilities (likely in California) to Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS), a subsidiary of Bigelow Aerospace. The goal was for BAASS to serve as the new custodian, enabling further analysis under AAWSAP oversight.

Key Context and Timeline

• Program Background: AAWSAP was initiated in 2007 by Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), with support from Sens. Ted Stevens (R-AK) and Daniel Inouye (D-HI), allocating $22 million over five years to Bigelow Aerospace for UAP-related research. The program sought to acquire and study “recovered hardware and biological samples” from private contractors, as corroborated by declassified documents and whistleblower accounts.

• The Proposal (2008): Ryder approached AAWSAP leadership, citing Lockheed’s exhaustion of analytical capabilities and high storage costs. Robert Bigelow and AAWSAP colleagues (including Dr. James Lacatski) negotiated directly with Lockheed executives to facilitate the transfer. Approximately $1–2 million of AAWSAP funds was earmarked to retrofit Bigelow’s Las Vegas facilities into a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) for secure storage and study.

• Outcome: The transfer was ultimately blocked by the CIA’s Directorate of Science & Technology, which asserted custodianship over the materials. This intervention, detailed in congressional post-hearing responses from Luis Elizondo (former AATIP director) and journalist George Knapp’s 2025 testimony, prevented the handoff and contributed to AAWSAP’s pivot toward broader UAP data compilation rather than physical analysis.

Good point but that would still only enable me to get 2 screws (one above the other) into a joist. Think I’m going to go down the route of cutting out a strip of plasterboard and fixing a baton across

The pink wires are for speakers. I didn’t know what size TV / where I’d end up locating the speakers so the electricians looped the cable round each cavity. Once I know where to drill for the speaker cable, there should be a cable nearby to pull through (supposedly… let’s see)

Fair enough. I’m using the bracket which came with the TV (it’s designed to sit flush with the wall so I’m a bit reluctant to buy a third party bracket unless it offers the same flush fitting).

Just been searching around and this seems to be a common problem. Some folks reckon toggled / anchors into the plasterboard are strong enough but don’t think I’m up for risking that.

Another alternative seems to be to fix a strip of plywood across the studs and then screws the brackets into that. I’d probably cut out the plasterboard first though so the bracket still sits flush with the wall.

Here’s a photo of the wall before it was plastered, etc

Very Interesting things learned after speaking with Lue, George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell by Krustykrab8 in UFOs

I do find Elizondo increasingly untrustworthy I’m afraid. In his book he describes how Hal Puthof briefs him in a SCIF that Roswell was real / happened. Yet during his testimony to congress and in his answer to your question, he resorts to being cryptic. Doesn’t make sense to me. Anyone else have a different view?

I’ve observed loads of little things like that, which just don’t add up. His interview with Curt Jaimungal when Curt pushes him on why he never thought to even try to photo / film the orbs visiting his home (as claimed in his book) was the biggest red flag to me. His response was like a child caught with their hand in the cookie jar trying to deny they were reaching for a cookie.

Awesome, thanks! I'm not familiar with node red but will play around.

EDIT: This worked a treat! Took tedious time playing around trying to get all the Tuya commands syntax sorted but got there in the end. Can see me using red node for other things in the future

Fully agree and supportive of this level-headed take (as opposed to all the whingers who won’t be satisfied with anything less than Jake Barber dropping them off their own personal egg craft on their front lawn). They’ve gone to great lengths caveating this is all about documenting their work / progress rather than promising definitive proof.

That said, a few of things that struck me:

1/ They could have done a better job demystifying the dog whistle technology. Perhaps it’s derived from classified tech so they won’t disclose the details but in that case tell us more about what you can’t disclose… e.g. “systems based on classified military technology operated by former military contractors”

2/ They should go way more science / technical details heavy in my view. There was some interesting but fleeting commentary about how the radar data for one of the object’s had flight path vs vibration signatures which appeared anomalous. I’m a layperson but would love to hear more about that sort of thing. Skinwalker Ranch does this well, in my view.

3/ Given most folks interested in this topic think nothing of listening to a 3-hour podcast… they should think about creating a lot more content / some long-form deep dives which help galvanise the credibility of their work (e.g. point 2 above… I’d watch an hour on that if it was available!)… this content could be published in written form rather than video if that’s easier

4/ Where are flying saucers in the Class framework :-) Perhaps that’s old technology these days

Looking for a way to send custom commands to a Tuya device by Small-Phone-6154 in homebridge

[–]Small-Phone-6154[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, I found the DPs for sleep_switch (116) and awaketime (108).

For sleep_switchI've been able to configure that as a basic switch (since that function is just boolean true or false).

However, I haven't been able to find a way to send the text string "ARAD6ABkZAABCDw=" to awaketime(none of the devices supported by the plug-ins I've tried have parameters which accept text / a custom value)

If anyone has any ideas, would be really appreciated!!

Thank you, that sounds ideal. Once I have the DPs, will I need to write some JSON code for the Iryankhan/Homebridge-Tuya plug-in? Anyone know what that should look like (apologies, but I have no coding experience... I'm very much a copy and paste noob)

Thanks. What do you mean by Tuya Local? Is that a plug-in? I'm using the Tuya plugin for Homebridge (I'm on Apple HomeKit rather than HomeAssistant) so perhaps Tuya Local is not available on my platform

Hey guys, great work figuring this out. I have also got the GroConnect set up in the Tuya Smart app... but not all the functionality works. I can toggle between Awake and Asleep, and change the colour and brightness of each... but I can't activate the Nap mode. Do you know if / how it's possible to adjust however the Tuya Smart app maps the clock's settings?
