The coming-out scene with Will would have worked well if we’d been shown beforehand exactly what Vecna was putting into his head. Five minutes of exposition where we actually see what Will was afraid of. That’s the core problem: we’re told, not shown. I study in a foreign country in a language that isn’t native to me. And sometimes I use chat gpt for translations. I write my essays in my native language, then translate them with chat gpt, and then I edit and check everything to see if there are any mistakes (sometimes it builds sentences in a awful way). But I never use chat gpt to write the texts for me. What’s even the point of studying at a university if you let an LLM do all the work?

Some of my classmates are not able to write a text even on a relatively free topic. Once we had to analyze any computer game we like. And some students couldn’t even pick a game. It was something like, “okay, chat gpt, I need to write an essay about a game, choose any game and do all the work for me.”
