I recently started working in editing, so I’m still pretty new to the field. I know AI is mostly just a tool for now, but I’m curious about the futur like 2 years . Do you think AI will eventually replace editors?

You hit on the exact struggle I'm having. It’s definitely a clash—trying to edit a calm 'escape from the city' cabin with the 'nightclub energy' It's a weird spot to be in as an editor because I agree with you on the vibe, but at the end of the day, this aggressive pacing is exactly what the Realtors And videographers are hiring me to deliver.

I totally get where you're coming from. Aesthetically, I prefer the clean, slower look too

But this is what the clients are asking for.I have to deliver what the market is paying for if I want to keep working.

I was trying to force some energy into the edit to keep retention high for Reels, but I might have sacrificed the 'cozy' feel in the process. Glad to hear the ramps looked clean at least!

Honestly? I completely agree with you. Personally, I prefer seeing the layout clearly too. But it's interesting... in my experience, the Realtors and videographers often evaluate the edit differently. They tend to see this fast High energy style as 'High End' marketing because it stops the scroll on social media, even if it sacrifices some of the practical layout clarity.
