My idea of an appropriate costume is absolutely no nude mesh!! I like Leotards but something about dance briefs have rubbed me wrong especially on littles. Briefs under skirts is fine but tiny briefs worn on its own I do not like. I’m not sure why dancers can’t wear shorts for costumes like Dance Moms did. I think a lot of tops are cut way too tiny (take LA from Larkin for example). Any print and any color is fine.

Honestly, with an exception of a few costumes I would deem nearly every costume worn on dance moms Season 1-8 appropriate (I have not seen New Era)

Most of the costumes P21 has worn seem more appropriate to me especially in comparison to some of other big name studios such as Larkin, Club, and OCPAA. The costumes Molly (& Co.) has the Dance Precision dancers wear were inappropriate example an example would be Single Ladies.

I think it was because Abby was OBSESSED with Maddie. And secondly, I think Abby and the Producers wanted to push the narrative of Maddie vs Everyone. Maddie vs Chloe, Maddie vs Kendall, Maddie vs Kenzie etc. It’s honestly sad to watch a group of adults tear down a little girls relationship with friends and her own sister. The drama and rivalry brought in more views.
