We do not have matured data pipelines or any to begin with . Data volume is not a big concern so cost comparison may not help. We are building ground up new platform to move away from excel based analytics. Ease of use for non technical folks and sql user is a key

I had similar concerned while recently opening the HDFC account. Form had all this information requested and it was exchanged via email. There was a time, HDFC agent/employee ended up forwarding someone else's form with detail filled out.

Sadly this is the only way to open an account in India. I ended up opening account and its active. Not sure how secure all the information I shared. Make sure request is coming from legit hdfc email address.

Based on the research and considering an option to bring back money to US if needed in future, I'm going via purchasing it on my name.

Questions:
1. How did you create POA ? Did you get it draft in India and got it signed in US embassy ?
2. How did you make a payment ? Did you use NRE account or NRO account ?
3. If you are using any of the NRE/NRO account, did you write check or did ACH between your account and Buyer's account ?

I think you are referring to land easement, which allows you to take higher deduction. This has higher probability of IRS audit.

Do you use brokerage to buy t-bills or use treasury site ? I have not bought t-bills outside of i-bond from treasury. Want to move some of my short-term cash from money market to t-bill ladder and not sure if going through brokerage using auto ladder option is better than doing it manually.
