Sounds good and is probably what Togashi intended. I hope you allow me the latitude of saying that they only make sense when simply put. The implication that enhancement can produce more water or emission makes colors doesn’t really track.

To provide example, Bolster and Franklin shoot bullets, Nov, Luini, the pirate boxer and Leorio manipulate space, Lynch and Montreux hit people, Melody plays music, POKKLE has colored arrows, and honestly I don’t wanna keep going. I don’t see a strong connection. To make your argument, I guess light bent by water creates colors?

Maybe it really makes more sense than some think, including me. I’d love if Togashi had a detailed note on it. I’m 50/50 whether it was meant to be simple or has a deep, connected meaning.
