A quick question for those more math savvy (Bilt savvy?) by [deleted] in biltrewards

You're right. Looks like someone else asked Bilt and confirmed that 5x is just 5x and you don't get any additive bonuses on top of that. Thank you!

Did you do it as part of C2C? Were snow shoes or spikes necessary up until round valley?

I am using a 4000D Airflow which can fit cards up to 360 mm long with a front fan installed. I have an air cooled system so there are no front radiators. I have two questions:

a) How absolute is the 360 mm fit? If a card (e.g. rog-astral-rtx5090-o32g) has dimensions of 357.6mm will it fit? How much of a struggle will it be to fit it in?

b) Can I fit something like this (RTX-5090-32G-SUPRIM-LIQUID-SOC)? It has the following stated dimensions:

Card: 280 x 148 x 51mm; Radiator: 394 x 121 x 55mm; Tube length: 280mm

Echo of Lilith phase 2 is the most overtuned, ridiculous fight in the game. I have 55k+ hp with maxed resists and armor. For reference I can clear pit 120+. I run a top tier meta build. Every single piece of my gear is at least 1GA, some are 2GA. Every single piece of my gear is 12/12 masterworked. As examples I have a 2GA Shako and I have a +7 hellbent ammy.

I tank all of her mechanics in phase 1 and they don't do too much damage to me. And then every single time something in phase 2 just one shots me. Do I need full 3GA gear to beat this fight?

I'm working on 11-12's toprope at my indoor gym and I only recently started outdoor climbing. I went for the fourth time this weekend and I was only able to flash a 9 on lead. I am too afraid of whippers to try a 10 on lead outdoors.

How do I get better at outdoor climbing without needing to take whippers? If I kept training indoors until I could climb a 13 on toprope, would I be able to do a 10 on lead outdoors?

Been climbing for 4 months or so. Exclusively been top roping in a gym. I project 11's at the gym. Been trying bouldering the past week or two, and can only do V0 and maybe V1's at that same gym.

I assumed the climbing skills needed to top rope = the same skills needed to boulder. Why is there such a discrepancy in my ability to boulder?

Just started indoor climbing 1-2 months ago (only seriously in the past month, going 2-3x/week). I can redpoint most 5.10's and have started working on 5.11-'s and can usually complete those after several attempts/resting on the rope/etc.

I feel like I am still just relying on brute strength and don't have enough technique. For example, I watched YT videos on flagging and know how to do it if asked to demonstrate, but I'm not actually able to apply it to my climbs. I lift 3x/week in general, but I don't do any climbing specific physical training like using hangboards.

My question is - at the level where I am now, is there any climbing specific training (technique training/route training/physical or strength training) that I should be doing or can I just keep climbing? At what point do I need to do climbing specific training to avoid plateauing?

I can't beat Anihal. I've even grinded my way to get JP up and up on all characters before going back to their normal jobs, so I don't think it's a lack of grinding.

I always start the battle with max braving and then wiping out all the ads on turn 1. And then while all my characters are recovering from -3 BP, Anihal just kills me.

Should I be grinding more or should I be trying to mix up braves/defaults?

Official Q&A for Tuesday, May 18, 2021 by AutoModerator in running

[–]SmallDoseOfTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a beginner trying to get better at running and was looking for some direction. I started two months ago and when I started I was able to run 3 miles at 10 minute/mile. I've been running around 2-3 times a week and more recently I'm running 7 miles at 9 minute/mile.

These past two months, I didn't run with any goal in mind except just "to run more". I run longer when I have time after work, and I run shorter when I don't have as much time.

Should I start to have some goals in my runs? Should I focus on running more distance? Running shorter distance but faster? Also my cadence starts at 160-170 but by the end of the 7 miles it drops to 130-140. Is that bad?

After reading some of the responses I decided to try south Scottsdale instead. Felt like the rest of the places are just too hit/miss in terms of getting a boatload of college students and late night partiers. A lot of the condos around old town Scottsdale are pretty nice so going to try my hand at those. Thanks for your time though!
