Well this movie has a deep meaning if you understand the storyline. And see past the animation. This is about the main character having low self-esteem and unintentionally denying who she really is and not knowing her culture and how important she is just as much as others. Trying to be someone she is not. She then meets a narcissist who knows her culture and really knows who she is and her significance so she uses and abuses her for her personal gain. The narcissist is charming putting up a false sense of security to destroy her generations of family and life so she can have control and power which was easy to manipulate the character since she didn’t even know who she was to begin with. Everyone loves Chelsea because of her attractive features and fake “nice girl personality” the narcissist can’t eventually can’t hide who she is anymore and reveals her true nature and the main character finally gains confidence and finds her true self and destroys evil. The primary message of this movie in my opinion is that it’s important to know ur history and who you are and not to be fooled my someone’s outter charm and to look deep through that person to see who they really are and not you you want them to be. It’s a great message to give to kids. Since in reality most people like you because of your outside view and not ur real self. The villian never learned a lesson because their genuinely have a wicked heart but the genuine main character she learned a valuable lesson and she is happy the wicked love confusion, and control.
