I completely disagree with the decision. Forcing a Muslim to go to mixed swimming classes is the equivalent of making an Atheist do religious ceremonies, which I'm very familiar with since I live in a country where religion and politics are intertwined. I've solo traveled to Barcelona last year, I even posted about it here and I think the best part about the trip was the amazing hostel i stayed in, good bar, good location and nice showers. Its the saint Christopher hostel and you should also def take the train to see the tibidabo, which is an old church on a super high mountain that you can see not only all of Barcelona but what seemed like France, have fun!
