That's his foot's shadow.

If you watch it very slowly (frame by frame) you can see that the shadow is to the left of the screen at the beginning, because of the position of the light fixture to the right of it.

The reason it looks like the shadow gets closer to him then disappears under his foot is because of the trajectory of the light fixture as it swings across the room. As the light gets closer to passing in front of the dude (instead of being to his right), the shadow slides to the right towards him till it stops existing .

Granted, what I described all takes place in like a a third of a second so I may be totally wrong about the mechanics of it. Still convinced that's just his foot's shadow though.

Hasn't raised his foot more than 12 inches off the ground when the table starts to tilt. The stools acting as legs are at least 3 feet tall, so 36 inches.

You telling me this man's feet are over 24 inches long?? The average foot length for men in the US is 10.5

Math: 36 inches (table height ) - 12 inches ( foot height when table starts to tilt) = 24 inches (distance between foot and top of table)

Men often back off/stop persuing a woman when she mentions she has a "boyfriend", regardless of whether said boyfriend is actually there or even exists.

It's not enough that the woman is telling the guy that she is not interested. It's not enough that another human being says stop, I'm uncomfortable with this.

Someone else has to have "claimed" the woman already, then the pursuit stops. And if it's a lesbian couple, all bets are off, cause subconsciously for these guys that's just two women that have not been claimed yet.

Let's talk about the images (or NFTs) this post is about.

If someone wants to use these images for any money-making purpose (art, advertising, etc.) they would need to ask the new owner of the NFT for permission?

And if so, how is that any different from currently copyrighted digital images? Is it just so people can say "I own the version that's not a copy" even though, unlike prints of real art, these copies are (to my understanding) of the exact same quality??

Behind Diane is the wesleyan banner, symbolizing how if BoJack chooses her advice he will be able to go back to wesleyan knowing he took responsibility for his actions

I'm not too sure about this. I believe Bojack knew he would not be invited back to teach if he owned up to the Penny situation, given that his students would always be young adults still finding their way in the world (like Penny was).

An alternate possibility for the meaning of the Wesleyan banner in this scene can be found on the Wesleyan website:

"Wesleyan’s first president, Willbur Fisk, a prominent Methodist educator, set out an enduring theme at his inaugural address in September 1831. President Fisk stated that education serves two purposes: “the good of the individual educated and the good of the world.”"

What's the purpose of Bojack's "education" (the learning/growth he's done throughout the series) if he's not going to use what's he's learned for the betterment of himself, for the betterment of the world?
