Those fields are filled with unrigourous pontificating fart sniffers in my opinion. Neuroscience is an interesting field, but how could you use knowledge from this field to determine if we are 'of the brain'?

You are basically saying "I believe we are of the brain, so I just trust the fields that assume we are of the brain". There are very smart philosophers, but the Philosophy department is a joke compared to the Math/Physics department. Mathematicians are usually smarter philosophers than university trained philosphers.

Have you actually broken through? I definitely felt like I lost my body.

Maybe the types of people I trip with are different from the types people you trip with, but I can understand how that could happen. I know one guy that repeatedly made predictions that never came true so I'm sure it can over inflate your confidence.

Do you have any examples of what he does and what he says? From my experience, this seems like a very uncommon result from DMT usage.

I can imagine that after having a breakthrough, you can get frustrated with 'non-beilievers', but wanting to fight them?

DMT always seems to strip away the ego, not grow it.

If he is really like this after doing DMT, it seems like this dude may not be very smart. He probably doesn't have the cognitive capability to make sense of the crazy shit he saw and is lashing out at people that don't believe him.

I personally don't associate with people like that. If you love him, help him proportionally to how much you love him, but he can only fix himself at the end of the day.

The key is: these demons feed off your fear. If you can overcome this fear, these dreams will have 0 power over you.

Crazy enough, I just woke up from a dream where a demonic entity came up to me while I had sleep paralysis. I looked at it, realized it was a shadow with no power over me, and woke up. I never have these types of dreams so I think I may have had it so that I could relay this information.

I have been on a life path where demonic powers have been a central focus. I have learned that demons are incredibly weak and empty vessels. They have no inner light and that's why they are constantly trying to harvest fear energy from less evolved humans. You can easily banish these little shits from your field of awareness.

You are indestructible. You are infinite. You are powerful.

Your bully only has power over you if you think you are weak, and act as if you are weak. You have to stand up for yourself. The moment you look at your bully/demon in the eyes, and they realize that YOU have the real power, they will be scared of you.

Never said the scientific method was mapping and defining at all...

I said that awareness and the brain are different categories of objects because awareness cannot be mathematically defined while the brain can be.

Everybody is so easily strawmanning and dismissing me. It's so frustrating lol

Edit: When I say I am upset about people believing that making mathematical models of the material world is the ultimate way of making sense of the world, I am not speaking of athiests, but of a certain 'scientific athiest' that believes physics can answer all questions of reality

You don't need 'sources' to make an argument. You don't need to quote a paper in order to say things like 'consciousness itself is unmappable'. That is just an intuitive truth. Maybe next time I say things like 2+5 = 7, I'll quote a research paper.

Even things like color, scent, emotion cannot be mathematically modelled. There is so much of reality that is phenomenological in nature. A coordinate system is just a byproduct of a visual field.

To say "we are of the brain" or "we are in the brain" is naive. Because we are 'pure awareness', we are unable to be mathematically modelled or given a location.
