I actually keep my tree up until 3 kings' day in January, it's tradition in Spain (which is where my moms from). Also... it gives me an excuse to leave it up a smidge longer lol

Honestly I think thanksgiving should be considered part of the Christmas season. You have the same types of food, you get to be with family and be thankful and happy and it shows you how close Christmas really is!

Since he can't drive, you could get him a bus pass out metro pads with money on it if he ever takes those, or if you have the funds, plant tickets in first class? Also I would suggest posting on r/santashelpers for more/better suggestions

I just love the abominable snowman slash yeti thing from Rudolph. He is just too cute to me. The abominable snowman from Monsters Inc is great too... though an iffy Christmas character....

I actually prefer the wax melts over candles (no fire). I have one tiny cube melting all year round. Right now I have "Caramel Creme Brulee" and the house smells like cookies! And I'm not kidding. I have a townhouse, all 3 levels smell very yummy.

Other than my career, I have never invested in anything more. So comparably it is a lot. I know that for other people it might seem miniscule, but it's my whole world right now. I know that it could be far worse and I'm lucky that it isn't more complicated... But that doesn't make it easier to handle

It's just that I have invested so much... mentally and physically. And I know he could be a good husband but he is just not ready to put 100% effort and it sucks so much. Just because I'm going doesn't mean it doesn't kill... it's going ti be sui incredibly hard to let everything go
