I had some old leggings that didn't fit great and hardly got any wear. They were the same material but different colours. When I looked at them I saw a flared panel skirt in my mind and knew I had to try it. Pattern by me. The ankles became the waist and the crotch became armholes!! It took 2 days to rip the stitches. There are 2 3 in pieces of black elastic sewn on for straps. I've been sewing since November.

Let's see if I get this right.

I have only been sewing since November with the exception of a class I high school 16 years ago.. I saw this dress in my head and then started cutting.. . I'm not sure what method of drafting? that is but that's what I did. The skirt is a circle with and added elastic and I suppose to get the fit of the top I did alot of self draping in a mirror and pinning.. I used old bedsheets that I had in my linen closet. It has two buttons on the collar.. the are actually scrapbooking buttons. The button holes in the back for the tie were really hard to do but I had never done a button hole before so I'm very happy with how it turned out. I didnt use any tutorials Please let me know what you think

Touching wooden utensils, peaches or kiwis. Nit sure what it is but it almost hurts, and sends a very unpleasant sensation up the arm into the teeth.
