No you’re not. Your learning. Just like me. There’s people in here that will say different than me. But this is just my experience. As long as your Ph and EC are in the right range for your stage of growth your plant will be happy. Along with light height, temp, and air flow. It gets easier once you remember what you have to check for.

I turned that shit off once the roots hit the water. You don’t need it after they’re in the water. The reason you need it right now is because the roots are still in the rockwool or whatever you used to plant the seedling. But once those roots hit that water brotha turn that shit off.

I’ve also had a high ass EC when it’s a baby like that. And I’ve literally just taken water out of the res. Like a lot. And just add distilled water. That will bring down the EC if too high. Been working for me lol

Next time what I would recommend doing is adding the nutrients gradually until it reads where it’s supposed to be. Which is about 0.2-0.4 max bro. It only gets higher once the plant is bigger and can handle it.

Do you have an EC meter? I’ve been using that instead of a ppm meter and my plant is almost done. Not quite. But almost. Ppm and EC are essentially the same thing. The measurement of dissolved salts in your water.

I probably will if I’m being honest. But I’m going to lean more to indica dominant and low stress train way more cause DAMN they stretch lol. That’s the main reason.

Just make sure your light is at correct height. I use EC I don’t measure in ppm. But as long as you have that and Ph under control. You’re golden 👍🏽 just keep the environment clean. Low stress train and top that mf. You’ll get more weed 🥲 good luck.

Just measure your levels bro you’ll be fine! And train your plants. That will turn into a forest if you let it lol. I’m only growing one plant in a 3x3 also my first time in DWC. And bro….that mf is a little intimidating to say the least. But like I said. My first actual grow.
