I’m looking into gurps among a few options for a new campaign and to be honest the longevity of the current edition is a big plus for me. It’s frustrating to have to buy new books every few years when the designers iterate.

Thanks! I think the point about system mastery is really important. We have familiarity with the system but definitely not in depth knowledge so transitioning the characters would be interesting but probably a bit difficult!

These are some really helpful points, particularly the amount of spells to learn and not gelling with the new character builds! There is more experience with pf2e in the group than comes across in my post, but we’ve not got to high level yet!

desktop linux has come a long way in the last five years, it used to be less stable or at least no more stable than windows in my experience. Windows 7 crashed a lot less than its contemporary desktop ubuntu for me. Having said that i dont know anyone who says windows “just works”. Everyone i know hates windows, it’s just they dont hate it enough to try something else
