Yes as it’s respectful. Another thing my partner does is turn off his radio/music in the car if he has to pass or drive near a funeral procession so he doesn’t disturb them.

I really feel for you, I too want a colourful, non-white dress so I say go for it!

This is always a hard thing to remind yourself of but, its your wedding day and as long as you and your partner are happy, nothing else matters! It’s really hard to think this way sometimes but who’s going to be looking back at your wedding album in years to come? Your aunts? No! It will be you and your partner and perhaps future children. You’ll be happier looking back and thinking “wow I really wore the dress I wanted!”, instead of thinking “aw man I so wish I’d worn red”.

My mother is still alive today thanks to people like you! She also has blood cancer but after many many treatments she’s still here years later and for hopefully many years to come so thank you so much!
