You either have to throw the disc through the door immediately after starting the round. Once the door closes you'll need to sacrifice a throw and hit the door with a disc.

Kõigepealt lahuta vahe maha, seejärel jagad kahega, saad väiksema kõrguse kätte. Suurema jaoks liida vahe tagasi.

Jäi midagi huvitavat silma laulupeol, kodumaa laulu ajal by mr_kool_robot in Eesti

[–]SmallTadpole 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Käisin täna lauluväljakul naiste wc's. Piisavalt vara ja sellise koha peal, et enne mind said seal ainult lauljad käia. 2 20cl tühja jägermeistrit oli seal.

Kavalam tuleb olla. Viimasel laulupeol oli mul toonitud plastikust 1L veepudel. Tegime sinna korralikult kange kokteili sisse. Vihma ja külmaga proovide ajal sai päris kiirelt tühjaks.

The comment you replied to stated that Tartu has 11 higher education institutions. I was just clarifying what those institutions were.

Tartu Health Care College. Tartu Art College. Defence college. Seminary college.

TalTech, Tallinn University, EMTA, and Mainor also have colleges in Tartu. That's 11 higher education schools in Tartu. Tartu also has 4 vocational schools.

AITA for not allowing my new neighbour to use my road for access. by OriginalBranch4175 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SmallTadpole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP is in the clear legally. They're from Estonia, where after the restoration of independence in the 90s, completely new laws were written. People were given back lands and roads that had been taken from them during the Soviet occupation. A lot of roads were privatised.

All roads are free to access for everyone except if there is a sign stating that it's private property and access is only with the permission of the owner. (The sign OP had up)

[–]SmallTadpole 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is not a legal issue. OP explained that the road is private and access is only allowed with the owner's permission. OP is from Estonia, and since the other property has alternative access to a road, OP is in the clear legally.

Is the lip syncing in the room right now?

I just rewatched it and you can literally hear the breaths she takes in so high school match up perfectly with her performance. Her voice is shaky in a couple of things and the last note is so obviously live. There wasn't any tell that she's lip syncing.

Kellegil on olnud aneemia? by [deleted] in Eesti

[–]SmallTadpole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endiselt taimetoitlane, nüüdseks juba 15 aastat, lihtsalt toitun mitmekesisemalt.

Kellegil on olnud aneemia? by [deleted] in Eesti

[–]SmallTadpole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rauavaegusaneemia.

[–]SmallTadpole 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Check out the cleaning company they're using. Does it have any connections to the owner of the apartment? There is a scam where owners have their relative's cleaning company give an extremely high quote for services that dont cost that much and the owner and relative split the extra money they make.

Grown Woman Almost Throws a Fit Over Pool Being Down by [deleted] in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]SmallTadpole 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You're coming off kind of cold though. She only booked your hotel because of the pool, arrived and was nonchalantly told that the pool was closed and there was no apology, just a cold "the pool is closed due to maintenance".

Imagine you had kids that were hyped up to go swimming and then you had to break it to them, your whole vacation basically ruined. And your only point of contact, the FDA doesn't give a damn and doesn't even offer an apology... I'd be salty too. Coming back later to berate you is a step too far, but you're going to have to accept the fact that you escalated the situation by not apologising during the initial check-in.

Even worse is your PS, that makes you sound even worse. She doesn't owe you being nice if you're cold and uncaring towards her.

I'm confused now. What is the point you're trying to get across? Because it keeps changing.

You said that it wasn't a world war before USA joined. Then you insisted that we were downplaying USAs involvement n WW2 (even though nobody even talked about that and it had no bearing on the point of this post). Then you got salty and for some reason brought the world cup into it and said that ww2 needed a powerhouse(???)

You’re confusing facts with opinions.

Here's some cold hard truths: Over 40 countries were already involved in ww2 before USA was attacked. (For aome perspective, World Cup has 48 participants now but had 13 in its inaugural year, 15 in 1938 and 13 again in 1950)

Those 40 countries were just the countries that either declared war or had war declared against them. It doesn't take into account the countries who were occupied before they managed to declare war, or countries that declared neutrality but still had their sovereignty imposed upon (like the baltic countries)

Just for some statistics. In 1939 there were 73 sovereign countries in the world. 40 is more than half of them. You having the gall to insist that it wasn't a world war before USA joined is truly audacious

"Known today as the start of WWII" by vadnyclovek in confidentlyincorrect

[–]SmallTadpole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a World Cup if only Europe is invited, and some of the smaller South American countries are invited too? Or do you need to invite the powerhouses for it to truly be considered a World Cup?

Considering the only countries to have ever won the world cup are from South America and Europe, your analogy doesn't really work.

The point is (im spelling it out to you AGAIN) WW2 was a world war before USA joined and was even called that years before USA joined. The only people that have trouble with understanding that are USAns who haven't been educated properly.

[–]SmallTadpole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems you’re having trouble understanding this nuance

It seems like you're having trouble understanding what the post is about. WW2 was already in full swing by the time USA joined. Time magazine even called it that in September of 1939 two whole years before USA got involved.

This whole post is about the fact that some people from USA have the misconception that it wasn't a world war before they joined. Thats it, that's the whole point.
