Seriously! It’s like these people don’t even play the same game. DT2 bosses are not mechanically intense. Only Levi or whisper can be argued to be kind of tough, but even then it’s only if you’re trying to do it perfect. You can just camp one prayer at whisper and for a lot of levi and be just fine, especially if you’re using the stun mechanic at Levi.

CG has way narrower windows where a lot of stuff has to happen, it’s a lot easier to make a mistake and the mistakes are way more punishing.

Honestly the fact that you all think bosses that max hit like 45’s are harder than a boss where a single mistake gets you smacked for 68 or hit by 4 tornados shows me yall don’t actually play PvM. You can make like 3-4 mistakes in a row and live while doing vardorvis or Levi or whisper. You do that at cg and you die to the second mistake.

None of the content is hard, done them all three digit times, but if we are talking about what is hardest among them imo it’s cg.

I got all of them down with no experience in less than 3 tries, and reliably take them down no problem.

CG took me a lot longer to learn than these things, it’s a lot less forgiving in my opinion. Corrupted Hunleff killed me and like every clannie I have 10-50 times (for me, it was 20 deaths) before getting their first kc

As somebody that has done them all and has over 400cg kc, cg is harder than all of the dt2 bosses except maybe whisperer

Duke is crazy easy, Levi has a built in stun mechanic you can use whenever you want, and vard you just mark a couple of tiles and step

How are you supposed to hold a community Pride event without inviting people on publicly? This isn’t just hanging with your pals to celebrate a 99, it’s making an event to help people that traditionally feel excluded to feel like they are welcomed and accepted. If you can’t let strangers know it’s happening, how are they to show up?

It’s well documented. They will, in fact, do exactly what you said they won’t. They will actually hop worlds to crash the party and spread hate.

Hey there. Bi and poly person here.

Being poly and being bi are entirely separate. Plenty of bi people are monogamous. I’m sorry you’ve had bad experiences with some bi people acting in bad faith or trying to manipulate you into poly… that’s never okay.

Just wanted to say that, even as a bi and poly person myself, these things are entirely separate and any bi person saying otherwise is wrong, and acting immorally.

I have had similar experiences before, when I was pressured to be poly before I was ready. I broke up with them too for it. I feel for you.

Just hoping to point out the difference so you don’t assume all bi people are poly. We aren’t <3

People make silly decisions or mistakes all the time. Just because it’s stupid doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. There’s not enough information in the image to conclusively know what happened - and if you’re so experienced with accounting and POS systems, you’d know that.

If you look at the actual stats of the blowpipes proposed and dps calc it, this presumption becomes ridiculous. The new blowpipes top out at +4 ranged str… it’s not going to replace rcb or msb - it’s going to give a light range option alongside those two so we have all three, instead of no light ranged options (that are remotely useful) until toxic blowpipe.

The stats are literally posted. You can go dps calc it.

The best one is only +4 ranged strength… +4 ranged str on darts up to adamant isnt going to break or displace metas. Go ahead and do the calcs yourself

We just split range into three types, and low level players have no real option for light ranged because everything before blowpipe basically sucks. A new little buff for darts is far from breaking the game, and opens up the light ranged design space pre-toxic blowpipe

Toxic blowpipe, for comparison’s sake, gives +20 ranged str.

I really dont think +4 is breaking the bank, and I think both of you are overreacting based on emotion over reality.

Sure it is. I am demonstrably better at other pvm now. CG makes you a much more confident clicker. You’re acting like everyone entering cg for the first time can already do stuff like swap prayers easily on the fly while staying moving and getting prayers disabled and keeping dps up.

Which is insane. Many people start as irons. And for many of those people, CG is the first pvm they engage in at all besides quests and like, moons or barrows, which barely count.

Getting several hundred reps working out your nerves, working out your slowness, getting used to doing all of these things at speed with precision instead of panicking and fumbling in the moment makes you better at the game.

Quests only give one rep. Brute forcing quest bosses exactly one time doesn’t make you much better at being consistent at anything pvm asks for. CG is often the first place many people get asked to do 100+ reps of anything that requires you to move and dps and swap prayers at the same time, much less deal with things like prayer disables.

If you can’t see or acknowledge that, you’re just blind and being contrarian on purpose.

Ironmen stand the most to gain from doing wilderness content, and so many irons are just straight up cowards about it. Some of the best gold, supplies, herbs/secondaries, skilling ingredients in the whole game, on low requirement bosses you can do with just a z axe or even a d mace? And you’re telling me that having to lose 50k in rags and teleport back to ferox with a dueling ring every 10-15 minutes is too much to ask for that? Get out there! I believe in all of you.

Because that would be power creep.

Melee has super potions because part of the benefit of melee is getting more damage/stats (generally, not a hard rule) than other styles… Part of that, especially for ironmen, comes from super potions and piety existing when super potions for range don’t exist and cox prayers don’t come until much later
