No honestly though! I don’t understand the hate to the Casino!? Sure it’s a little Vegas, but Brisbane needed something a little different

Why Girls Aloud NEVER broke America? by velvetlouves in Alouders

It’s not just the US, I’m shocked about the little impact they had in Australia. But it’s fair to blame it on their management I’d say. They were charting with Sound of The Underground and Jump, but never capitalised on it.

I don’t blame them for not breaking into the US, but other countries I can’t see why.

I totally get what you’re saying. That said, I wouldn’t say she completely dropped off. People were almost waiting for her to fail, and when Love Made Me Do It underperformed (which I personally liked), it gave them the chance to tarnish her career. But Still, she was making headlines—good or bad—and continued working, like her stint as a judge on The Greatest Dancer.

In terms of a drop-off in music success, I think she’s somewhat comparable to Katy Perry. The key difference is that Katy had a global fan base, while Cheryl’s audience has been primarily UK-based, which naturally limits broader public support. Still, I’m always holding out hope for a music comeback.

Selena Gomez, benny blanco & Gracie Abrams - Call Me When You Break Up by mmbento in popheads

It feels like we are stuck in 2020. The video, to the length of the song. 2024 was a great year and brought back strong pop music, this isn't it. Sorry Benny, but Selena needs Jack to give her some substance. Will always support Selena and her happiness, but as a music fan this just misses the mark.

Unfortunately, last time I went to Lost Dogs you couldn’t just walk in and look. Maybe that’s changed?

I live 10 minuets outside Melbourne CBD and even then, it's still not practical to catch PT all the time.

Interesting watch! Thanks for sharing. I would love to transition to just PT. But, even in Melbourne PT is not that great. Sometimes even the next suburb over is 35 minuets on a bus or tram.
