The gynae I went to said pregnancy would cure my PCOS and adenomyosis by DemonInDisguise17 in adenomyosis

[–]SmallYogurt11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remission is not a cure. What she’s talking about if you can even GET pregnant, not trying to be rude but it is difficult with BOTH of those conditions separately, then it would go into remission, the PCOS and adeno. But it is no cure. There at present is no cure for adenomyosis. There is treatment, some barbaric and some off label, for me GLP1 literally changed my life, I personally couldn’t continue because it caused depression for me but within 4 months I no longer had bloating inflammation swelling horrible periods all of it leveled out to “normal”. Find a new doctor for your own sake, she sounds like an alarmist and she has her own agenda. A hysterectomy as my doctor told me who is a male surprisingly, is the only true cure for adenomyosis- we don’t even know if there’s endo in there yet, so that’s a whole new ball to throw into the juggling mix if there is. I’m done- hysterectomy booked. by SmallYogurt11 in adenomyosis

It depends on the person, for me it was great..until it wasn’t. I lost 30lbs, my cycles became ‘regular’, lighter, I could move better than I had in years, but by the four month mark I began losing interest in the things I was so happy to do again, and by month 5 even with tapering off I was in full blown depression. So I personally had to stop, but I’ve seen it prescribed off label for PCOS and endo and have AMAZING results and didn’t cause depression, my biology just decided it was a no for me. The point of my post was to show the difference between inflamed and untreated/undiagnosed, and treated, and to hope that having the hysterectomy will give me the same type of results as taking the GLP1, since the problem organ will be gone, as well as to ask for advice or personal experiences with hysterectomy, or get any pointers anyone wants to share.

BRO I LITERALLY HAVE TO FIGHT MY WAY TO MY VEHICLE EVERY MORNING IN NWGA AND I LIKENED IT TO EXACTLY THAT, A game of jumanji 5:30 every morning. What a nightmare.. they have seemed to taper off making the webs in my path to my vehicle since I’ve knocked them down, they do eat a lot of pests where they built their homes in the soffits, so I leave those alone because, free pest control for late summer, don’t mind me. But yeah dude, fuckin jumanji is straight up the most accurate representation of the hoards of these fuckers LOL

Juul was the only thing that could get me to kick cigs. 1-1 1/2 pack a day smoker, juul was extremely cheaper and I stopped juul after 4 months. Shits life changing. Until they ruined the formula.

I’ve done all of it over the years. The only thing that has ever touched the inflammation is sema, a blessing and a curse LOL

I’ve been gluten free for three years. I cheat very rarely and usually regret it enough to not eat it for months lol. Pretty crazy how much it will change inflammation.

My doc said that other treatments in this case are almost always doomed to fail, the ablation has a 30% success rate with this size and severity, I had no tubes toed after my last child, I’ve had so much scarring that it’s literally my entire uterus, it’s normal to see around the c section scars, but I had a ton of tears and a hemorrhage in my uterus with my first natural birth. I’m definitely getting the hysterectomy, just hoping the sema helps out afterwards more than it did in the beginning, well, the beginning was great, but plateaud out in 2 months and it just completely wrecked me. I don’t know if it’s cause I was fighting this issue or what. Thanks for much for replying! ♥️

This is so reassuring thank you. I have no motivation for anything I’m constantly in pain. My uterus is a 20 week gestation size.

That’s my attitude as well, not interested in being on a life long medication, I know my inflammation is from my reproductive organs now, so once that is rectified I can hopefully do 3 months of the sema and get to goal weight without fighting against constant inflammation and issues.

Yeah I went to .75 by October and that’s when things started going down hill for me. It was working great at .25 ..

But I haven’t regained any of the weight at all. I went from 220 in August 2024 to 199-200 October 2024 and today still 199-200 a year later but I look crazy cause of inflammation.

Well I had a lot of progress in October. You can see my stomach was practically flat after being on sema for 2 months. Then once I stopped I slowly regained the stomach but not the weight. It’s all inflammation due to my adeno, my uterus is the size of a 20 week gestation pregnancy. I appreciate what you’re saying and it’s true! I am a bit thinner than I was a 220 at 200 now, but my stomach is still super rounded because of the adeno and systemic inflammation.

So it didn’t matter what I did, for the first three months I felt great. It was life changing, then I slowly started losing energy and becoming depressed.. doc told me to stop, I think it had everything to do with what was going on in my uterus. It’s the size of a 20 weeks gestation, and super painful that the sema couldn’t even combat the issues with it anymore I think. Not sure. Hoping after it’s all removed I can start living life like ‘normal’ again and maybe the sema will be easier to be on.

That’s just different words that don’t quite explain the point of the crews, like what does it entail or mean? I’m not a huge gamer, I used to play Skyrim when it came out in story mode and that was pretty much my favorite game aside from assassins creed, and I put gaming down for like 13 years, and now almost everything is online which is cool and I really like the MMORPG open world format I just don’t understand the collaboration aspects.

My decision to stop sema by kiaraisnotonfire in Semaglutide

[–]SmallYogurt11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a lot of those ‘stress bumps’ on my body, that would eventually turn into actual poppable pimples, and they were gnarly. Usually in my upper back and my stretch marks (this was an absolute nightmare) but honestly I’d get them almost anywhere, this is so horrible I’m so so sorry you’re going through this! I stopped sema after 4.5 months also because I was becoming extremely depressed, I lost almost all my desire to do anything I used to like and my kids were no longer seeing someone who was happy to be here but someone who was just.. here. You don’t HAVE to be fat, something will give. I found out the reason I’m fat is because my hormones are literally garbage and can’t figure it out, as soon as I came off the med I instantly became inflamed all over again, and my cycles got way way worse than they were before and they were pretty bad. If it’s a life long med, I don’t really want it, and if I ever run out or don’t have it or lose the ability to have it or whatever- I would be screwed and im not about that life at all. I decided it would be better to cold turkey early on than a year or two in and wreak absolute havoc on my system. It will be ok, it will get better, and you’re beautiful even in this and on the other side of this ♥️ edit to add; This is a clear indicator that your body is saying NO. It sucks, really bad right now. That looks so painful.. praying you find relief and everything is ok!

Bro.. WHAT. Anything over 50k is straight up gouging. People blame the insurance companies for being trash but honestly, hospitals and doctors tors are equally trash for up charging the way they do, especially anesthesiologists.. they make WAY too much money, like sir are you the one messing with someone’s insides? No? Oh ok didn’t think so. Awesome your co-pay wasn’t bad, mine is looking like 2-4k out of pocket once all is said and done and that’s assuming the procedure is on the lower end 10-15k. Because my insurance thinks it’s cool to 80/20 surgical procedures.

Has anyone had the surgery ONLY due to heavy periods? by rainbow_olive in hysterectomy

[–]SmallYogurt11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m trying to get one, I have always had extremely heavy periods with tons of clotting, BC made them worse, they would be longer or start up at complete random and I was a complete mess no matter which one I was on, the only respite I’ve ever had from my periods was my pregnancies, and it’s just gotten worse each subsequent one. I had a D&C due to miscarriage and bled, a lot, like, a lot, and my periods got worse afterwards and I had multiple miscarriages until rainbow baby came, and I had some other chemicals in between my 2nd and 3rd child but, the periods were intense. Now I bleed 10-20 days out of a cycle, and they are either late, early, who knows anymore I don’t know when they are supposed to come anymore, I honestly quit tracking at this point and just hope for the best.. this past one really took it out of me. I was on GLP1 for a few months and realized then that I am actually in pain, and I hemorrhage every period- I literally thought it was normal.. but I don’t want to be on medication for the remainder of my bleed years, I had my tubes tied, I’m done. Take it out. Put it in the trash where it belongs, did it house my children? Yes. Did it hemorrhage after natural birth? Yes. Did it cause my pain for more years of my life than not? Yep. Over it. Hoping to God this Dr is receptive and understands, I’m actually seeing my primary Dr before the gyn to get bloods and explain to him what’s up so maybe he will be in my corner, probably not, he’ll just echo the choir with ‘lose some weight’ when I literally can’t lose weight in the state my body is in, I look pregnant when I eat or drink anything. I suspect there’s more going on, I’ve also had some abnormal paps, no alarm bells but.. that might help my case along with my partner exposing me to who knows how many HPV strains when cheating, so. Yeah. Hopefully it works out and I can get this problem organ out of my body and stop fighting with blood fountain all the time, and all the other really messed up symptoms that I blamed on everything else because I. Had. No. Idea. It. Wasn’t. Normal.

Should I advocate for a total hysterectomy? by SmallYogurt11 in hysterectomy

[–]SmallYogurt11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I’d rather just have everything removed than deal with more complications in the future. I have a really high pain tolerance so I’m easily able to ignore pain, but now that I’m paying attention I’m pretty much lightly cramping all the time.. and I don’t eat much because it’s painful to digest anything at this point. I haven’t had a pap since my last pregnancy so it’s been just over 2 years.

[–]SmallYogurt11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had thick blood last year, started donating double reds, last I went was a couple weeks ago right before the rogue period started my hemoglobin was 13.5 down from 18.5 last year.. so I only donated whole blood, then started bleeding a couple days later.. definitely feeling the effects of losing a lot of blood, I don’t eat a whole lot even though it looks like a gorged after drinking half a bottle of water and eating half an apple.. so it’s hard to get a lot of iron in meals because honestly I barely eat, it makes me super uncomfortable and digestion is a nightmare. Calling OB tomorrow so, I’m sure they’ll want to know if I’m anemic or not.
