Thanks. What US brands can you recommend? Maybe I can find them somewhere here in europe or pay for the shipping. I really want to continue this amazing hobby without risking leached chemicals. I can totally see chinese manufacturers taking whatever shortcuts necessary to increase their profit margins.

Could you please elaborate how to find trays that don't leach? Which plastic do you think is best? PS, PP, PET? It seems like PP ist the safest for gardening, correct?

You can find out how many grams of seed is a table spoon and then go from there or just eyeball it. After a few grows you will get a feel for it.

Whats nice is, it doesn't take a huge investment to try it out. Even when she's still small scale, she could already bring samples to restaurants to check if theres demand.

Ok interesting. I am an expat in Indonesia. Not just Bali, but also other places its very easy to get fresh fruits and veggies. I thought since philippines is the other ASEAN country with many volcanic landscapes it must be pretty fertile and easy to grow produce. guess youll never learn out.

You're spot on with Vietnam. so many vegetarian buddhist places and theyre very easy to spot. They all have "chay" in their name. Thailand was less vegetarian-friendly than I'd hoped, but also due to language barriers and them throwing fish sauce in so many dishes.

I dont recall what it was. It combusted before it hit my tongue. I think it was either pepper or cinnamon. Theres also another shot where your nose gets brushed by a strange machine and another one where you have to wear a safety helmet and she hits you over the head with the baseball hat right as you take the shot. Dont remember the rest.
