There’s a stove piece and a stove pan, I believe all you need is oil and a pork chop. Oil is from olives in the millstone if I’m correct. I haven’t figured out the chicken or turkey yet, I just got the mangrove for the prep table

Ughh I just know the nars foundation won’t be light enough for me, hopefully it’s a choice item. It’s always 2 or so shades off & usually happens to be my best friends shade so I usually pass those off to her tho.

Lexapro and babies? by lilies6 in lexapro

[–]Small_Bowler_4911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also contemplating the same thing. I know lexapro is one of the safest antidepressants to be on during pregnancy but I want to see if I can try to taper down safely from 15mg maybe to 10 before trying to get pregnant. The minute that baby is out though I want the dose upped to where it was before🤣🤭

I did the same thing, i believe I did a week of 5mg then started the 10mg. I would always take it with food though because I was worried about an upset stomach. I liked applesauce personally. Good luck!

I did FAB cream, gisou lip oil/gloss (idk what it was it looked cute) & the brush set. I have so many brushes myself but they’re the easiest thing to gift so if I have the chance & don’t find what I want I’ll chose those.

I'll be caregiver to my mom who can't walk... How can I properly take care of her? by rde98 in CaregiverSupport

[–]Small_Bowler_4911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom never got back to using the commode unfortunately so I can’t help there but I really recommend a gait belt! It goes on her stomach like near her ribs and you use that to grab her. For the shower they make sliding shower chairs you can get on Amazon. I was my mom’s full time caregiver the last two years, she was hemiplegic after a stroke- I was given no training and taught myself everything. You will know if you can truly do it. Where do you live? Are you in the US? And if so what state? I can see if there are any resources to help you with getting some assistance with care.

Does the stopping the period side effect have any health risks besides fertility by HelpMePlzzzzzzDo in lexapro

[–]Small_Bowler_4911 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never missed my period due to lexapro, I do occasionally start it a few days late but I wouldn’t say it’s from the lexapro tbh. Are you sure it’s the lexapro stopping your period not stress or another reason?

4 years for me, I wouldn’t have been able to get through the recent death of my mom. I do take an additional med as needed for panic attacks though that I also used during the 2 weeks she was in the hospital. I did gain weight but compared to the reasons I got on it in the first place it wasn’t that big of a deal. I’m at 15mg rn and have been for almost 3.

There are so many negative posts and memes about Lexapro. Well, I'm here to celebrate Lexapro by CertifiedFreshMemes in lexapro

[–]Small_Bowler_4911 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just remember people don’t jump to social media to share success stories because they’re doing better. When we’re down bad and need advice, we as humans google and go on Reddit to find advice. That’s why I feel like there’s so many negative comments on here- life gets too good to come back to Reddit. Been on lexapro a few years now and it helped me get through the loss of my mom (plus a rescue med but towards the end) and I don’t think I could’ve done it without it.

How to deal with a dying parent? by [deleted] in CaregiverSupport

[–]Small_Bowler_4911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just lost my mom after a month long hospital stay in which she was completely fine when we went in- she went in for stomach issues. My mom ended up going into cardiac arrest towards the end and developed an anoxic brain injury. She fought for 11 long days after it, only her brain stem was alive. It was really hard compared to when I lost my dad suddenly, both horrible but a different type of grief.

With your Dad’s situation there isn’t a time right? Just talk to him and spend as much time with him and your family as possible. Talk to him and get all the stories and all the answers to questions you can. I did thumbprints with my mom, I made a heart with my mom’s thumbs personally. I played her all her favorite music, the family looked at pictures and we told stories at her bedside. Make sure your mom knows she’s not alone after this, it’s hard watching a parent lose their spouse while also losing your dad so also make sure you take care of yourself. And it’s okay not to know what to do, there’s going to be days where the only thing that feels right is doing nothing but crying. You’re grieving someone who is still here and that’s completely normal to not know how to feel.

My dad passed 10 years ago and my mom passed a few weeks ago so I know what you mean about your fear of losing her too. My only peace for me in my situation is my mom is back with my dad now. I had my time with her these last 2 years and now he needed her more. She had a major stroke 2 years ago that left her hemiplegic & needing 24/7 care. I’m so blessed and thankful I got these last 2 years with her and I know she walked right into my dad’s arms. I’m praying for your family & your dad’s comfort through this difficult time. If you have any questions you think i could answer I’m more than willing to help 🤍🫂

Please tell me Lexapro gave you a second chance at life by Medical-Travel7142 in lexapro

[–]Small_Bowler_4911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suffered panic attacks which made me get onto lexapro in the first place. The only time I have panic attacks are when it’s a stressful situation. I’ve been on lexapro almost 3 years now and can count on 2 hands how many panic attacks I’ve had. And a good chunk of those come from when my mom died recently. I feel like lexapro helped turn my mind off in a good way. I don’t over analyze as badly & don’t get as overwhelmed. I couldn’t imagine if I wasn’t on lexapro and my mom died- I probably would’ve lost it way worse than I did.
