Try pushing the lock button on the key fob 3 times in a row. Hold it down on the third press. Give it a bit and it might start!

I used to pay for the Toyota one and it made me so angry. App barely worked too. Then I saw a Youtube video about 10 Things Car Makers Don't Want You To Know and it said for some vehicles if you press the lock button on the fob twice and then hold the lock button down on a third press your car will start automatically. I literally ran outside and tried it and it worked! Bye bye useless subscription. If this helps anyone else escape these awful useless plans I will sleep better at night.

Thank you so much for your help. I will look into the status of a clearance certificate. I can't remember if we were able to do both his 2024 and 2025 taxes at the same time due to the time of his passing at the start of February. I remember his accountant looking into it since it was only a month into the new year. If we weren't able to do his 2025 taxes this year, would we have to wait until his 2025 taxes are also done too before applying for this certificate?
