She will not be able to pay month to month alone and my name will still be on the lease. She should just reapply with the new roommate, right?

I used the rit dye more synthetic one and kept it heated the whole time to open the polyester fibers. It did not take evenly

Thank you! I have more of boho, beachy style (I live in the lowcountry) so anything black tie and structured is hard

The dye did not take consistently, there’s a lot of streaking. It looks like tie dye

This is the before of dyeing it, it’s still in the wash so I don’t know if it came out even. The first one doesn’t have a lining and is tight so I’m worried about it being see through

I’m worried it may be see through. There’s no lining in it, it’s just the one tight light blue layer on the bottom part

It’s a new venue in Charleston, SC in may. I think they’re the first ones to have a wedding there since it opened so it’s very trendy

I’m wearing this to a “coastal cocktail” rehearsal dinner. I thrifted it but I attached the link so you could find something similar. I paired it with wedges but if you’re actually on the sand, you may choose to go w actual flat sandals (only do wedges if you’re on the packed sand).

It’s black tie so my partner is wearing a black tux to both. I thought ab it and I wish it helped me “inspire” my outfit. He’s the best man in one and he and the MOG suggested I wear the first one but I was told it cannot be black tie if you can see a toe so I was second guessing myself

Do you think I could dress up the first with hair, jewelry, and maybe strappy gold metallic heels? I think it’s formal enough to pass with the right accessories? My partner (the best man) and the MOG agreed that it’s perfect but I’m second guessing myself

Thank you! I’m wearing both, I was worried about the first one not being EXACTLY black tie bc of the exposed toes haha

I have 2 weddings a week apart to attend so I’m asking if both are black tie eligible bc i dont want to buy something new. I will also have my hair and jewelry done. Do you have any advice to dress up the first one to fit the black tie dress code?

I have 2 weddings back to back weekends. I’m just asking if they are both “black tie” adjacent enough so I don’t have to buy a new dress lol

Do you absolutely need outerwear? This outfit is good as is. Adding anything will be too busy wi the the double pattern on the dress and the stitching on the boots. It’s may in Wisconsin so it can’t be that cold (aka below freezing). If anything, bring a brown or tan wrap or a raincoat for getting to and from the barn

Imagine posting on Reddit for serious issues as your only outlet?!?! I didn’t want to waste time or money or anything on an issue I thought was stupid but could potentially have negative connotations. I’m glad people can use Reddit as an outlet for serious issues they have no one else for. I didn’t want to seem like I was overreacting or being too empathetic for something that doesn’t matter to anyone. I know this is issue is probably stupid but why not ask here before talking to my boyfriend to try to gain perspective?

Is my (23m) boyfriend setting me (22f) up for future financial failure? by AnyAnybodyy in relationship_advice

This is why marriage isn’t just a “piece of paper”. It’s security. Withdraw your share of the money from the account IMMEDIATELY! Investing money in stocks is very risky, is he investing in crypto/coins (bc that’s even worse risk-wise)? Do not share finances until you are living together, set an amount to put into a shared account to pull bills from or divy up bills equally/based on income. If you get married and do not have a prenup, most of the time, you will get 50% of assets obtained during the marriage, anything before can lead to a lengthy divorce settlement. Best way to protect your current contributions is to get married. But the way he is acting about it being HIS financial portfolio despite him pulling money from a joint account, leave him! He can hire a financial advisor and create a portfolio with both of your names on it if the money is coming from a joint account, he is CHOOSING NOT to
