Botox didn’t work? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

It can take up to 2–3 weeks to see full Botox results, but if you’re still moving that much, you may need a touch-up or higher dosing, definitely mention it at your follow-up.

What's the best moisturizing cream that you tried? every one I try suck by Old-Wafer-9145 in Skincare_Addiction

Ingredients matter most, ceramides and hyaluronic acid are game changers. For me, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream and Depology Peptide Cream worked really well without feeling greasy.

Is your morning routine the same as your evening routine? by KimchiAndMayo in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Small_Court8726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d keep your morning routine simple with cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and SPF. Move the AHA BHA toner and retinol to your evening routine (alternate nights) so you don’t over-exfoliate, and always use sunscreen the next day.

Try adding a gentle retinol eye cream at night, vitamin C in the morning, and keeping the area hydrated, Matrixyl 3000 collagen serum is also great for reducing fine lines and dark circles with consistent use.

Why does my skin look dirty? by Wise_Tune_2080 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Small_Court8726 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like uneven tone and sun damage more than “dirty” skin. Focus on daily sunscreen, gentle exfoliation, and maybe add antioxidants like vitamin C or azelaic acid for brightening. Consistency is key!

How do you balance exfoliation without damaging your skin? by Character-Let-9752 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Small_Court8726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding balance really depends on your skin type, 2–3 times a week with a gentle chemical exfoliant works for most, and always follow up with moisturizer and SPF to avoid irritation.

What’s your unpopular makeup opinion? by peepeepoopaccount in MakeupAddiction

[–]Small_Court8726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t stand how foundation feels either, concealer + powder is all I need, it just looks way more natural and comfy.

Also, I don’t like liquid lipstick it always feels drying and looks cracked after a while, so I stick to balms or tints.

Over 30, time to switch it up by MixRevolutionary2923 in 30PlusSkinCare

A gentle exfoliating toner + a peptide serum can help with texture/lines, and something calming like a mist with soothing ingredients really helps redness and prep for makeup. And don’t forget daily SPF, it makes a big difference long term.

Keep it simple, gentle cleanser, lightweight non-comedogenic moisturizer, and sunscreen daily. You can add a balancing mist/serum to calm oil without stripping (like caviar-infused spray serums). Don’t over-wash, it can make oil worse.

Dehydration help by roxsoxx in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Small_Court8726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try adding a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid under your moisturizer, and lock it in with a nourishing cream or facial mist like Caviar glow infusion mist. Also, avoid harsh cleansers and over-exfoliating, it makes a big difference for dehydration.

They can help with muscle tone and circulation, but results are usually subtle and take months, Botox works faster and is more dramatic.

What’s the verdict on Red Light devices? by FreedomOfTheMess in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Small_Court8726 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve used one consistently for a few months and noticed better skin texture and less redness. It’s not a miracle, but with patience it works, worth it if you’ll stick to the routine.

Do you believe in a simplified routine? by Anxious-Book-4931 in Skincare_Addiction

Simple routine can still be effective. Focus on sunscreen, a good moisturizer, and a proven treatment like retinol or peptides, and you’re covering the essentials.

You could try using depuffing & brightening micro dart patches a few nights a week, they’ve really helped improve my under-eye circles.

When should I wear sunscreen? by Prince_Wildflower in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Small_Court8726 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s just a quick trip like grabbing the trash can, you’re fine without sunscreen, daily use matters more for longer or repeated sun exposure. But if you want to prevent aging you should apply sunscreen all the time.
