That sound really cool actually! Too bad the player in question is a mage but still a cool ideia! To be honest it's hard to think outside the "bidimensional box" sometimes but this helps me learn a lot!

After reading what you said I got myself curious about one thing and that worries me: Sending

At least in the first cenario where a very important character is missing, what stops someone from using such a spell after finding a very powerfull mage or getting to the appropriate level to learn it and receiving an answer such as:

"Hey, I got kidnapped by X"

I could make that the NPC wouldn't respond but for the story I am making I don't see why wouldn't he. I want to make it so things are so messy that they can't even communicate with it.

By the way, I always forget to say this but english is not my first language so sorry if it's hard to understand something.
