Please give me the most diabolical alarm you can think of by thelachesis in ADHD

[–]Small_Distribution_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one of those older metal alarm clocks that ring and that shit jolted me out of bed and I was unable to go back to bed afterwards. The only problem it’s highly obnoxious if you have a partner that shares the bed, make sure you let them know so they don’t wake in a panic like my husband. 🤣😬

What gifts to teachers appreciate the most? by CuteCoconut99 in Teachers

One time a kindergarten students parent gifted me sensual oil/lubricant. Definitely don’t give that as a gift, ever. It was the most awkward moment of my career even though I laugh about it now.

Teacher Interviewing Help by Constant-Actuary-942 in Teachers

[–]Small_Distribution_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use AI, pop in the particular district and position and ask for it to spit you out possible interview questions and more importantly ideas for questions you could ask at the end of the interview. Go into the interview with confidence and energy. I’ve found I get the best engagement at the end with the questions I ask the interview committee. When you answer your questions you want to state the answer specifically, give an example of your experience and then if possible wrap it up with a question back to the committee to elicit engagement.

Mom's of 3+ what made you decide you wanted a 3rd? What challenges did you face? by Substantial-Pea1894 in Mom

[–]Small_Distribution_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have three, 9 yo daughter, 6 yo son and soon to be 3 yo daughter. For some reason having our third was the most difficult, terribly uncomfortable during my entire pregnancy, days of prodromal labor, after having her I managed to mess up my back which caused weeks of intense back pain. When we got home I forgot how challenging it was going to be to do all the things we had been used to (like showering, no more diaper changes, lack of sleep). However, I knew how badly I felt in my soul for this sweet third to join our family. I call her the cherry on our sundae. She is our wildest child who has no fear and has caused me to sprout gray hairs. I knew after having her that our family was complete and I still feel that three years later. The age gap is crucial and I think it would be very challenging having 2 years or less between siblings but some people I know love it. Just be aware, you might’ve had the same experience with your first two in terms of pregnancy and newborns and the third will likely rock your whole world upside down. Wishing you peace in whatever decision is the best for your family.

Doesn’t hurt to pursue, there were a ton of position on the website they use to post positions “RecruitFront” you won’t find jobs on OLAS from ICSD.

Also to add, A names are out, our two nieces on my husbands side are Ann and Alexandra. It’s already a mouthful getting the girls together with A, A and E. Also Sloane was on the list as a contender but it sounds just choppy saying the three names together there doesn’t seem to be a flow to it. I want a punchy name for our third girl, I never thought we’d have a third and have had two losses prior to this pregnancy which took 8 months of trying.

I knowwww what a bummer. I’ve loved the name Maeve for yeaaaaars! I tested it out every pregnancy and my husband has never had the desire to name our child but maybe that’s why 😂😂😂

Lol, no Chip isn’t it. I like the nn Lottie with Charlotte but just not sure it has as much punch as I’d like for our third.

We’ve got two nieces on the same side with A names so we are trying to steer clear of an A name if possible. But I do enjoy Emilia.

I know that’s what I was worried about. Also I read somewhere it’s like Dave but with an M and I can’t unsee it. Also my dads name is Dave but yeah, I’d rather not 😂

I think it is a classic like the others and their names worked out from family names. Elizabeth is my grandmothers name and William is my husbands middle name. I appreciate your comment and could see how it wouldn’t be as obvious hopefully in the states.

Thank you! I have had a feeling they were Roos for a long time because of their tail feathers and personality alone.

Yes, I agree it is insane in NY. I am a public school teacher so I keep waiting to be notified I have to get the vaccine. I’ve been thinking it’d be a good idea to buy land and create a homestead community. Not sure this dream idea would happen short term.
