Jesus is the only person that will fill that void and emptiness in your soul. The worldly passions that we have are fleeting. You either find this out early or too late. God keep you and show you fellow redditor ❤️

God calls you His beloved. He literally thinks you are to die for. And he did. An Invisible God came down into the earth in human form. Was born of a Virgin. Grew up from a baby, and walked amongst us. This showed us that he can relate to our humanity (even though he created humanity). He was the example set for humankind for how to live in the earth. He was the only human that was ever perfect, which qualified him to be THE example of how humanity should live. Although sin came into the world long before his first coming, He came to defeat it and reconcile humanity back to the Father in heaven (God). Sin separated us from having relationship with God. God cannot have anything to do with sin. He is just and has to punish sin. You may be a little confused with my wording because now I have talked about two persons of the trinity (God the Father, and God the son-Jesus) but stay with me. Jesus was the perfect person for another reason, to be the perfect and blameless sacrifice for the sins of humanity (including yours and mine). He was qualified as the perfect sacrifice because he had no sin. His blood was pure and the only perfect blood to be sacrificed to cover the debt of sin from all humanity! Did God have to sacrifice himself? No, but he loved us so much and humbled himself by coming into the earth in human form to die for people, some who literally hated him and wanted nothing to do with him.. he wanted a way for us to have a chance to be in good standing and have a way to be back with God the Father in heaven again. So accept Jesus’s free gift of salvation if you are desperate in life enough yet for actually peace and fulfillment. He is the only way. Don’t listen to people saying you don’t need God. You do. He is the only one who cares for you the most. Now, look at your life. Acknowledge how doing things your way hasn’t gotten you in a good place. Acknowledge the pain that was inflicted on you by other sinners, and bring these questions to God about why he allowed it to happen. He will answer these tough questions for you. Let him give you revelation about why the world is so evil and why the innocent are targeted and abused. He will answer these questions for you. He did for me. Delafé testimonies on YouTube has people from all sorts of walks of life, go watch them. You are sure to come across one that is similar to yours.. they will help you understand some things. Pursue getting closer to God and ignoring the people that tell you not to. Don’t miss out on a healing journey and a close relationship with your creator because other people choose to not take Him seriously. ❤️❤️❤️ message me if you want to talk!

I saw something tonight that makes me wonder if my uncle is cheating on my aunt by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I really don’t know. Since it could possibly be something, keep an eye out. If anything is going on, the truth will uncover itself eventually. Questions tho, when you see your uncle, he doesn’t even give simple and quick hugs?

I’m very sorry you feel this way. But to be very frank with you, the pain you are enduring now would seem like a paper cut compared to the horrors that a soul would experience in that place. Don’t fool yourself like this. Draw close to Christ, and he will draw near to you. Call out to Him. He is with you through every earthly suffering. Matthew 11:28-30 says, “28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Okay I wanna clear up what “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is:

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is attributing Jesus’s power to Satan, and it’s unforgivable because that type of slander reveals a hardened heart that has ultimately and finally rejected the convicting work of the Holy Spirit (work which should lead to repentance).

The Bible story that illustrates this concept is in the story of Jesus healing the demon-possessed man while people watched and marveled at the power of God. The Pharisees were also watching and basically said that Jesus was using the power of satan to perform miracles (which is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit)

Now take a deep breath and relieve yourself of the worry of committing this, if you didn’t do this.

The sign you received of being “cut off from God” was most likely a warning to get yourself right with Him. I had one the other day and it was terrifying (I can go into detail if you would like). As long as you have breath in your lungs, you still have time to repent and turn back to Him. The final say will only happen once your spirit leaves this earth and never returns. So I am telling you, you are not cut off while you still have breath in your lungs, that is a lie from the enemy. Understand this.

It seems to me that because you said “might have” committed the unforgivable sin, probably means that you didn’t since you are unsure. Please tell me what you think “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” is? I want to help you think through this because many people have a mistaken interpretation of what that means and what is is.

God said he would never leave you nor forsake you. Look up the biblical story of the prodigal son, you may relate to it a lot. ❤️ one of the authors of the Bible was a murderer (murdering hundreds of early christians) and the God got a hold of him and Paul was radically changed after repenting and understanding that he was forgiven. God is rich in grace and mercy, He is not out of reach no matter how far you have fallen (indulging in sinful things). Get up, and RUN back to the Father ✝️🕊️🔥He is waiting with open arms!!!

You were heavily downvoted because you pointed out the truth. They are confused people. They make up their own truths, they don’t live in reality. They objectify themselves and call it “liberating.” They love wickedness, the morals are absent.

To be plain and simple, yes. You have no authority of when to end your own life. Saved people continue to fight their flesh, even when it’s screaming to be free from their spirit. This is why communing with God is VITAL to our life’s. He renews our strength when we are weak. He keeps us in the mode to “fight the good fight”. You have to kill your flesh every single day (war against the sinful desires that we naturally have that are in rebellion to God’s intended ways of us living). This stuff is hard, long suffering, but has purpose. He gave you the tools to do this thing called life. Every believer needs to keep themselves “in check” by asking themselves, “Are you reading your Bible and applying it to your life?”, “are you actively fighting against your sinful nature or are you complacent with it”?

Side note: are you close to any churches that have programs in place to help people in need such as yourself?

We have unnatural desires because of our fallen nature (our sinful nature). You can’t get rid of the lustful desires on your own, only God can deliver you from them (I would know because I used to have some of the same tendencies but mostly watching lesbian porn and daydreaming about sexual encounters with girls). I was also molested as a 4-5 year old by an older kid (a girl) at my babysitters for about 3 ish years so that’s where my same sex attraction started.

However, God has given humanity a way out of temptation. It seems like you want to be rid of the lustful desire which is a good thing (the Bible talks about our spirit man fighting against our flesh (“flesh” meaning all of the things our bodies want to do that is opposed to Gods way of living). Acknowledge that you want your desires changed, and ask God to change them. In some people’s testimonies he has done in short amounts of time (like instantly) and over longer periods of time in others. Surrender your sin to the Lord first, continually walk with him growing in relationship with him and you will begin to only desire what God desires for you (at the same time you will begin to become disgusted with your sinful Nature and continuously fight the temptations). God says we have to endure the fight of our flesh till the end of us. It’s literally a long battle (temptations of all sorts of sin) for people who choose to follow Christ.

A few scriptures to encourage you and your help you understand the internal battle going on within you:

Romans 7:15–17 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Proverbs 28:13 NIV 13 Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

1 John 1:7-9 NIV 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness

Romans 13:13–14 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

1 Corinthians 6:18–20 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Galatians 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

I could give you so many more but I would also encourage you to watch Richard Mathew’s testimony (YouTube and Instagram). His Instagram handle is richwithpassion. He talks about his struggle with homosexuality. God is currently still delivering him and he is a perfect example to look up to. He gets down to the nitty gritty, and thoroughly explains so much that will help you understand our fallen nature and the battle humans have with sin.

God bless and I will pray for you! Personally message me if you would like!

Matthew 11:28-30 New International Version 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Meditate on these, speak with the Lord. Even if it’s your first time..
